Now she called me from work and said she wants to go to USF. I am so frustrated over this whole thing. She wanted me to sign her up for the student orientation ($135.00.) I told her she was going to have to do it. I don't want to be the one making the final decision by actually signing her up.
My neighbor just called. She saw an alligator on the road. Mike and I went out to check and the gator is in a pond in front of the house 2 doors down (or should I say the mansion, it's huge.) Now I'm scared to have the dog out or be running in the dark. Apparently the owner of house knows it's there! There are kids that play around his pond and small dogs all over the place. Too scarey for me.
Sherry and Debbie-Please let us know that you are okay. I'm worried about the both of you and the tornados. I had no idea it was happening until Gayle said something. I saw it on the news after she mentioned it.
Suzy-When do you get to actually see Travis? I know you are on pins and needles.
Janice-Sorry to say it is hot here--in the 80's. My run today was rather uncomfortable. I have to get used to the high temperatures.
BTW, our Passover sedar is Wednesday night at my mom's house. You are all invited to come on down!

They have their tickets and we pick them up at the airport first thing in the morning Tuesday, April 18th!
Shelley ~ I think you're right to let Becky make up her own mind about school. Hopefully she will come to a decision soon...and stick to it!
I don't like to be out after dark here either, but it's bears that worry me not alligators. Can you call animal control to have it trapped and relocated?
Janice ~ You are really on a roll! Keep up the good work!
Gayle ~ How's your weather now...has it improved? Winter returned here for the weekend, but it's supposed to warm back up at the beginning of the week.

Suzy, we had pleasant weather for two weeks, then two days of freezing cold/rain and high wind. Today is nice again and the expected temp for next week is in the 80's!!!! I am so ready for a decent spring and summer!
We will understand when you won't be checking in as often while you have Travis home!
Shelley, don't you just love your children? I love mine but at times I want to strangle their little necks! LOL! I am sure Becky will come to the right decision. I agree, if she wants to go there, she needs to take the proper steps to do so on her own. Your a great mom!
Keep your gators down there! I have a few snakes I have to contend with getting into my pond every year. I'm scared to death of a small snake, I would probably wet myself if I seen a gator! LOL!
Janice, CONGRATS ON THE WEIGHT LOSS! WEIGH TO GO GIRLFRIEND! KEEP UP THE AWESOME JOB!
How's our little princess Dee?
Cheryl, how is Stewart feeling? How long will he need to be off of work? Thank you again for taking over Shers spot while she is away, you are doing great!
Sher & Deb were both in the areas hit by the last tornadoes I think. As far as I can tell, neither are posting anywhere on the board. I hope they are ok...

Hello
Remember me????? I'm safe! So is Debbie!! The tornados were too close to us!! They hit 5 miles from my School! We didn't have electricty for 2 1/2 hours! The kids were all lined up in the dark hallways. It was pretty scary. Even the Principal was worried. But we all survived and no one was hurt and no damage to the school. At home, we got bad hail & rain but no damage.Thank God.
We have been very busy moving to our new home in KY. We have all the small stuff moved and hopefully next weekend ALL the big stuff will be moved. I love my new home!
Also, Guess who's home??? CHRIS!!!! He got here last Saturday & will be here on leave until the 21st!! He's been in CT but when he leaves here he'll be going to Bangor,Washington. From there he'll be put on his SUB. He looks so good and it's wonderful for him to be home!!!!!
I miss you all and I promise to be back as soon as Chris leaves and we get completely moved in.
Love to all...

Sherry! I'm so happy to hear from you! Give Chris an extra big hug from me. That's horrible about the tornadoes, but thank goodness you are all okay. We anxiously await your comeback to the boards!! I love you!
I'll post more later--gotta get ready for my run.

Becky has decided once again to go to USF. We paid the $135.00 student orientation fee. Now there is no turning back (I hope.)
Gayle-So sorry you can't make it!
Hey, it is very cool out this morning. I'm off work for 2 days, so I'm going out for a run.
Vicki-Are you lurking somewhere? Miss you!

So Becky will be staying home this year Shelley? Best wishes in her decision! What yummy food dishes are you planning to have for passover?
Enjoy your days off!
Janice, looks like we are at the same weight right now!
Suzy, have you came down from the clouds yet??? I KNOW you are sooooooo excited to see Travis!
Sher, take care & post soon!!!!
I keep an index card with my weigh in amounts on it. I am not very consistent at times but the card goes back to March of last year. From March to now, I have lost 25 pounds and been able to keep it off throughout the year even with all of my indiscretions. Some days I feel like I am never going to lose anything, I guess it helped today to look at the whole picture and remember I use to be heavier. I still need to lose more, but at the same time, I am very happy and positive to think I have lost 25 pounds and been able to keep it off instead of regaining. When I do go off track, I will have about a 3 pound gain which I am able to lose again fairly quick.
Off of work today! Going to have a "me" day! Kinda! I still have a few things I need to take care of for my mother, but I am staying home and just going to hang out, maybe do a load or two of laundry and go through some of my things to get ready for a rummage sale in May.

Gayle-That's great about the weight. 25 lbs. is awesome! Becky won't be staying home--she'll be going to Tampa. I think Vicki's parents live right near the university she will be attending.
I'm hanging out at home until my gynie appt at 2:30. Ugh!!

Hey all!!
Just wanted to drop by and give a shout out! Stewart is driving today (he was actually driving yesterday, but today is his official "start" day). I'm so happy, he was going stir crazy in the house--although he WAS getting a lot of cleaning done!!
I've made up a list of NSV goals that I want to meet so I won't be so upset when I hit a plateau and feel like I'm not accomplishing anything. I'll come back later and post them.
Love all.

Hi everyone! Forgive me for being MIA the past few days...I've been running around trying to get things done so we can take next week off when Travis and Noell come home. This time next Tuesday I should be having lunch with my baby!
Sherry ~ Welcome back! You sure have been missed!
Shelley ~ Happy Passover! I do wish you were closer...I'd love to come to dinner!
I'm glad to hear the Becky has made her final decision...I do hope that she will be happy at USF!
Gayle ~ 25 pounds is awesome! I like the idea of keeping a log of how much you have lost too...that's a good idea! I have a picture of myself that was taken last summer that I keep here on my desk...I tell Tim that it's my dieting fuel.
Dee ~ Enjoy your time in the country with Gail!
Cheryl ~ I'm glad to hear that Stewart is back to work and feeling better!

Gayle - Awesome job on the 25 lbs. keeping it off is more than half the battle.
Suzy - I bet you are counting the minutes!
Shelley - I hope things settle down with Becky now that she has made her final decision.
Dee - You sure travel around alot. Have Fun.
I weighed in yesterday at weight watchers, I lost another three pounds. I got my ten pound ribbon. That was two weeks, now everything will slow down I'm sure.
Anybody have any smart tips on how to get all that water down in one day.

I add a touch of lemon or lime juice to my water Janice. If I have it on the "rocks" that seems to also help!
