Gayle-I don't quite understand the state goal thing. They don't really have true amount of miles for the state. Do they just come up with an arbitrary goal?
I noticed that too Shelley. Kansas is roughly 500 miles and the site set my goal at 286 miles. I looked tonight and I am 5.6% to goal and if I keep up at the rate I'm going, I will reach my goal 1/18/16!!! I better get to moving! BTW: I'm not really impressed with the HW site...I thought there would be more interaction among the members.
Gayle-I noticed your post on the message board. I haven't posted there because of the same reason. It seems your only response was from the owner of the site. I don't really think it is all that great either, but I really like having a goal to try and reach. Last year I did the virtual Appalachian Trail on www.coolrunning.com, but they didn't do it this year.
I noticed our very own little Sherry-poo joined the HW site!!!! I really like the setup of the site, I'm just disapointed no one seems to post. I noticed the owner has tried to start new topics like food, music etc. with hardly any response. Sad huh?
Duh! I just figured out that I had to go into the email to find Sherry's name. I was looking all over the place. Isn't it cool that all 3 of us were welcomed at the same time?
