Shelley - We have the "Time for Success" program currently. We don't have Core or Flex programs as far as I am aware. On the Time for Success program you're allocated a certain amount of points per day according to your weight, at 110kg I'm currently on 24 pts a day. The more weight you lose, the less points you have. You can "bank" up to 4 points a day from your 24pts, but they do not carry over into the next week, if you don't use them, they expire. You also earn bonus points for exercise, which you can cash in for extra food that week, they expire at the end of the week too.

The "sugar" and "alcohol" points from what I've gleaned from the Aussie WW forum are part of your normal 24pts a day (not extra) and WW recommend that you don't exceed 14pts worth of sugary food or alcohol during a week. They count a sugary food as one that has sugar in the first three ingredients, like doughnuts, cake, biscuits(cookies), chocolate, etc. 1 sugar point=1 regular point, so if you have a cookie that's worth 3 pts, that's three of your sugar points for the week GONE. Some ladies do quite well not tracking the sugar points, others don't.

'POINTS(c)' are measured using kjs and saturated fat. For example, a blueberry bagel at 1300kj with 2g of saturated fat is 5 points.

Sorry for the essay, I'm feeling verbose today

Sherry-I was wondering the same thing! When is your next WI? Mine is tomorrow.

Krystal-Honestly, I don't know where everybody is. Normally, the ladies are posting once and sometimes twice per day. Your WW sounds like the older points system here. That's how I lost my weight in 2002. It's a great plan. I'm sure you will do awesome! Thanks for keeping me company on the exercise board.

Gayle-I'm getting worried about you. Please post, or at least email me.

Dee-You must still be on the beach in PV. We are anxiously awaiting your return.

Debbie, Janice, Ramona, Jennelle, Vicki (I really miss you both!!), Cheryl, Doni (where are you??), Carol, Mary-- hope you are all doing okay!

Hey everyone! Just popping in to say hi to everyone and "Welcome!" to Krystal. I'm still lurking around, keeping up.

Love all,

Hello everyone,
I am reading all the posts everyday, just don't have too much to add lately. After last week I'm glad this week is quiet for me. We did spend most of the day Monday at the heart specialist. Doug's blood pressure is way to high again. He was put on more medication.

Thanks to the ones who are checking in.

Hello to the ones that aren't. I hope you're ok and hope you post soon. I DO miss you!

I'm not going to be doing WW this week. I have been having a lot of pain with my hiatal hernia and the doctor seems to think it's my diet. Even though WW is VERY healthy, she seems to think somthing is lacking or causing my problems. If you remember last time I was doing WW I hurt all the time. Next Monday she wants me to go back doing WW and see if I hurt again. Does anyone have any clue as to why?

Sherry-I don't understand why the diet would have something to do with it.

Okay, since you are giving health news, I'll give you mine. The dr.'s office called today. Now they want me to see a surgeon. I really don't understand. She said something about having the cyst aspirated and biopsied. She also said not to panic. Now I am panicing. My consultation with the surgeon is next Wed. That is just the consultation. Then there will be another appointment after that for the procedure. This little mammogram has turned into 4 appointments. Tell me not to worry.

Sherry,
I know when I don't drink enough water, I get a lot of pain. I doubt that has anything to do with what is happening with you, but I can't think what it would be.

I dropped another 1/2 lb this week! I'm down to 126. I hope I can keep this weight.
