We are a great group of ladies (but men are welcome if there are any who care to join us) who have one thing in common. We are all working together toward our goal of being healthier in our daily lifestyles and to lose weight. There are all different ages and backgrounds here and we all have different ways of losing our weight. We all love to have fun and laugh, but we also give a lot of support, encouragement and motivation for one another.

Everyone has their ups and downs and we’ll be here with you thru both! Please feel free to post with us - just jump right in and believe me, you will be welcomed with open arms. The more the merrier!

I'm the BRAT. :cb: :cb: :cb: :cb: Woohoo!!!

Just a quick check in to say....I'm Baaaaack! ....and sooooo glad to be back. The week babysitting was the week from H*ll. It was -51 for 2 days, the baby was sick, I worked my fingers to the bone, had a 3 year old throwing temper tantrums all week and got the flu. Life couldn't get any better. :D I have a humble appreciation for all the single moms out there. I don't know how you do it. You are truly super women.

On the positive side, I lost 6 pounds. On Wednesday, the 5 year old asked me if I ever ate. Oh yeah, that. I realized then that I hadn't eaten since Sunday. But by that time I was too sick to eat. I rode the entire way home on the plane zipped up completely in my parka and I was still cold. Poor lady that had to sit next to me and listen to the hacking and coughing. I was so glad to get home. Told DH that I would never do that alone again. OMG!!!!

Well...gotta run here. Will check in later this week. Have a good one.

This is for Peggy...BRAT, BRAT, BRAT!!!! :D There, I got it out of my system.

Just popping in for a quick hello. I have to get my stuff ready to go up to my parents' house tomorrow. As far as healthy eating...it's getting there. I am being careful with what I eat. Today I met up with my sister, bil, nephew and niece at the zoo. Talk about workout. Does walking around pulling a 20+ pound kid in a wagon for 3+ hours count as exercise? I haven't been this tired in a long time! It feels good :D

Peggy- I hope you are feeling better. I'm glad you survived the grandkids. They are a handful aren't they? My Mom won't watch the kids by herself. Congrats on the 6 pound loss!

CJ- Have you defrosted yet? I hope your headache is gone...those are awful!

Wow .. where the heck is everyone? Sorry I haven't been around this week but had that horrible horrible headache, and then turned into a nasty sinus infection! I have not felt very well this week!

Anyways, I'm back and there is no one posting ?????? What is up with that? Well, except for Peggy and Slyvia anyways. Where is Loon and Shaun? and Rita? and our new gal, Christina? And Sharon ... don't stay away for as long as you did the last time, ok?

Good job on eating well ... and yes, I would count pulling the wagon as exercise! Good luck at your parents house .. how long this time?

Glad you survived the grandkids and hope you are feeling much better. Good job on loosing the 6 pounds ... Oh and .... BRAT BRAT BRAT !!! for starting the new weeks thread!

Hope all of you are doing well and hope you post real soon! And I hope you are warmer than us here in the north ... we're finally coming out of 24 below zero weather ... actuall by next Friday we'll be in a heat wave - suppose to get up to 36 degrees!

Went to the Casino last nite .. got a Royal Flush on the quarter poker machine and won $1,000!!! That was a shocker.

Haven't been paying too much attention to my lo-carb eating so today am starting all over again! One - day - at - a - time! I CAN DO THIS!
