Hi girls sorry I have not posted all day. Was up late last night with a killer backache, yup and TOM hit me hard today, but my back is feeling better. Tomorrow is suppose to be our last day of our Canada cold spell. I can't wait to feel twenty degrees, haha.
Noelle your baby is growing up, I feel for you, I know it is so hard to watch them become more independent, for me it is anyway, I mean I am happy but sad their not babies anymore. I thought my five year was late too riding on two wheels. We will have to get him on those two wheels this spring. He will when he is ready. Our cheese is the best, I hate to brag . I do like marble jack, japleno cheese, and sharp or regular cheddar.
Kempy, hey girl sorry to mention my fattening meal. But I would love to have you and Joe over for some . I hope your eggplant dish turns out for you. I like eggplant parmesan. Okay here I go again, anything with cheese!! I am glad the birdies made it out.
Well probally check back before bed, Hi Angie, Cal, Cherie, and Summer

Kempy: I'll pass the info on to my brother. About your umbrella; last year Lowe's was clearancing some patio umbrellas regular price $90 for only $18. We got a beautiful one. Keep your eyes open for sales like that. Glad the birds are ok; sorry you have such a mess to clean up.
Noelle: When is Michael's b-day party? Hope it's a good one.
Julie: Hope your weather warms up for you. Today, it was sunny and warm. In fact, I had to use the A/C in the car for a few moments to cool it down. Can you believe it, A/C in January???? Only in Arizona!!
Angie: How did the Monopoly game turn out? Kids working in the summer; be sure they don't form a union and ask for all sorts of benefits!!
Cherie: Hope your weekend is going great. Take care.
Hello to anyone I missed.

Happy Monday Girls
How is everyone doing today? Gearing up for an OP week? I am trying, had a egg for breakfast. Before we all know it, it will be the end of April and almost summer. I still can't believe Christmas is over.
Okay Cherie, we missed you last week girl. Come and chat when you get a second this week. I bet you had a lovely weekend Alan. I am sure you guys had fun making all your great sounding dishes you like to make. How are your girls doing? Did you catch the Bachorlette last Monday? I think it may be on again tonight.
Happy Birthday Michael you little sweetheart . Noelle and Rick you are lucky to have such a cute, outgoing, and smart boy, even though I never met your family I feel I know you guys. Anyway have a great day!
Angie I bet you are so excited and have so many things going on right now. How do you think your in-laws are going to take it? Will you still be baking for them too? My husband said if you guys get that business going, you will have to get a website up and we could all order from you! Wouldn't that be fun girls. Anything lowfat, no-carbs, and full of fiber . Just joking, lol. Wish you guys the best.
Kempy are you off today because of the holiday? My brother in CA is off. Lucky guy. Dh had to work today. I hope you and Joe got everything cleaned up from the nasty storm. I talked to my brother and he may be going to Italy for a late honeymoon. I wish! Pizza, pasta, and wine and desserts, I would be in carb heaven. Plus I heard it is suppose to be really romantic there. Cal you would know, I know you have family there.
Well hello everyone check back later today.

Hey girls, happy Monday. Just vegging out at home for now. Michael's upstairs playing w/his cousins and his new Mr. Potato head silly suitcase set. We're supposed to be heading to Chuck E. Cheese probably around 11:00 or so...I crashed and burned on the OP eating yesterday. We went to D&B and I ordered this Mediterranean grilled chicken sandwich which was so good, if you ate a half order you'd be okay. I ate about 3/4 of the sandwich plus the ceasar salad which had way too much dressing. We had a good time though, but I just feel sluggish today. I can't wait for tomorrow to come when a routine comes back into play.
Julie, thanks for the b-day wishes, you're a sweetheart. I know what you mean about feeling like we know each other so well, I feel the same way about you guys. Wow, an Italian honeymoon sounds so romantic. All I know of Italy is what I've seen in the movie Under the Tuscan Sun . Loved that movie BTW. I guess if we want to explore Italy we'll have to tag along w/Cal and she can show us around.
Cal, I've got the fan blowing on me right now. It's a muggy 74 degrees right now. I think we're supposed to get more rain but there's absolutely no breeze to speak of.
Kempy, I haven't tried the green tabasco on salads yet, that's something I will do though. Have you seen the supposedly 'hot' habanero tabasco? It's not even hot. I guess I have a really high tolerance to what hot is. Are you workng today?
Angie, what's happening today girl? I saw it was -18 degrees at Bar Harbor! I know you're not exactly in that area but stay warm! I'd love to see your new storefront. How soon do you guys think it'll be ready to roll?
Cherie, do you have today off as well? Enjoy it wherever you are.
I gotta run and pick up the house a little. Be back later.

Good Morning! I am back. I am sitting here with my oatmeal, and I am about to go make some ice water. Yum... breakfast of champions.
Julie... what are you thinking about the Bachelorette? There are no guys that have jumped out at me that I really like. The ones making the impressions are the ones she is kicking off... for good reason, they are coming on a little strong with the I am so into you thing.... I do like Jerry only because he is a cutie.. but other than that... well, I can't stand Fabrice.. and have heard he is an actor... there really isn't anyone that is making this season watchable...
Noelle.... I have the habanero tabasco and it a little warm, but like you.. it's not HOT... however, I made some salsa over the weekend, it was our third attempt at doing this recipe we like, and this time we upped the jalapenios from 3 to 5 and instead of using fresh habaneros, we had purchased this habanero extract, and used 2/3 a tablespoon. OMG... this stuff turned out soooo freakin hot!! It will be great to use with queso, but by itself, I am afraid that we can't share this stuff with our friends, cause even for me, I can only eat a little... so next batch, we will add two more cans of crushed tomatoes to the mix, and I think that will tone it down just a hair.
My daughters still have training wheels on their bikes too.. I am going to try to wean Hannah off them this summer, but since we really don't get to ride bikes much, she is not very confident and is scared.. however, hopefully this will be the summer I turn her into a little athelete with her bike and rollerblades!
Kempy... glad you are OK after that storm! And it sounds like you are doing a great job with your diet.. I am trying really hard to get motivated this week and just do it.. just having some issues.. as usual. I went to the doctor yesterday for my annual, and he thinks I may be suffering from depression again and wants me to consider taking something for it. I really don't want to.. but I am having some rough emotional eating and some bad sleepless nights. So.... we will see. Hopefully you will inspire me!
Angie.. Congrats on the Storefront! That is so exciting! I would love to own my own business, doing something I love... That is great! I know it will go well for you!
Cal.... I hope you are feeling better!
Well, I guess I better get busy working... This week isn't nearly as bad as last week, but I still have a list of things that need attention!
((((HUGS)))) I've missed everyone!
Talk to you soon!
Cherie

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't get on yesterday. I was at work in the morning and then I had to pick up Joe from the airport. We went to Outback for dinner so it was kind of late when we got home. I am still staying OP. I am kind of peeved though. TOM is coming soon and I have a little water weight on. I am going to keep pushing through this though and maybe I will get a reward once the water goes away. Joe is still doing great on his diet. Damn men! I think he is down 11 lbs now and this is the begining of the 3rd week. I on the other hand and still fighting the same few pounds. I wonder if I have messed up my body with all of the yo-yoing over the years. I feel like I am doing enough to lose more but it just doesn't want to budge.
Angie I want to know to what the time frame is for the store. I feel like I havn't talked to you in so long. I know that you guys are busy though.
Noelle it has been COLD down here. Last night we had a hard freeze. At least for us it was. We were around 25 for more than 10 hours so it was mighty chilly here. I think our high today is supposed to be around 45. Can you believe it is that cold here?
Cherie have you ever taken St. John's wart? I used to take that and I loved it. I don't have severe depression so that really helped me out. I could tell when I got off of it too. I wonder if they would allow you to take that.
Julie the Eggplant came out pretty good. I used 3 egg whites to dip the slices in. Then I coated them with crushed bran flakes, whole wheat flour, italian seasoning, Tony's and garlic powder. I baked it for about 20mins and had it over wheat pasta w/a little tom. suace. It was really good. The eggplant is healthy too that way. I figured it up and each slice is about 60 cals. Plus you get alot of fiber.
Well, I need to run we have a guy coming to measure for carpet and for granite countertops in the kitchen. I'll pop on later when I get a chance.

Cherie, I have tried St. John's wart. It really did not do anything for me at all. I have tried a few SSRI's and just could not tolerate the side effects. My body is so sensitive to medication. Well whatever you do I hope and pray for you.
Well its been a crazy day, running to pick up and drop off ds, laundry, feeding the kids, now I am eating right now. LOL....I should go play with the kids or go dust. Mmmmmm....thats easy I might take a break and hug the kiddos and play. I want everyone to smile today....even if you don't have a reason smile or belt out a huge laugh, it is really suppose to help your mood. Can you just see someone sitting in their car laughing their @ss off? I saw a show on it once and this guy would be on his way to work on the bus and just starting laughing so hard and it helped his moods and the way he looked at life, so Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha....
I hope you don't think I am crazy check back later

Hey girls, I already had my little drama crisis this morning which resulted in one guy quitting. It was for the best though, I can't stand those primadonna plumbers--those that want the big bucks but won't do the work for it. But, 'nuff said about that. I have this big knot of anxiety in my chest and I know Rick did too. After we sent the other guys out on the road and we were alone all we did was give each other a big, long hug. *sigh* Get this, the guy claims to "have to walk on eggshells around here, your wife (meaning me!) doesn't like me, she never has since the beginning...". Well excuse me, just because I don't go around giving personal greetings in the morning to everyone doesn't mean I don't like you. Give me a break. Rick almost told him, 'well my wife doesn't like anybody, so don't feel bad'. I have a feeling this guy knows the system and he'll just try to claim unemployment benefits due to a 'hostile environment' so he can sit on his lazy behind. I really don't care right now, I'm just glad he's gone. He's so big he's intimidating and I can't have that, I can't live in fear that if we have to reprimand this guy he'll use his size to his advantage. Whew, yeah, I'm glad that's over with. I love ya guys and thanks for listening. I'm kind of just decompressing right now, sorry if I don't get personal but I'll be back later.

Hi everyone!! Man it is so cold outside today. BBBRRR!!! We didnt even get into the positive numbers today.
Well, I got the key to the storefront today! It is way bigger than I remembered it to be. It will probably look so empty. I am not going to actually have to pay rent on it until March 1. So I guess we will be opening up after that. I am thinking about buying a laptop so I can bring the internet with me. LOL How do those things work anyway? Greenville is so far in the boonies that there isnt any DSL up there so how would I get it to work? The owner is a really nice guy. He said we can do whatever we want to the space. We will be right across the street from the lake which is where everybody walks around during the summer so I hope we do well. We are going to be so busy though. We will have to get thgere at 6 in the morning so I can cook all the pastries off to open at 7 and then we will run it til 3 in the afternoon and come home and cook the donuts and Jay will have to deliver them at night too. I figure he may get to bed by midnight. If you want to see some pics of Greenville just type it in in your web browser and you can find the town websight. They have postcard links on it and it is pics that people from there have taken.
Noelle, I am glad you got rid of the guy with no problems. I would have been scared too. I hope he doesnt milk you for unemployment now. {{{HUGS}}}} I am glad Michael had a fun birthday. You are doing so well. I am proud of you.
Julie, Isnt this weather sickening? Sad thing is it is cold down south now too. I guess the only place to go is Noelles house.
Kempy, WOW, Joe is melting right away. I think his weight has found me. I bet you two are gonna win the dinner. You Rock!!!
Cherie, How are you today.

Well, I just had dinner with the girls.. made something warm, and fattening.. Chicken and Dumplings.. but it was good.
Kemp and Julie.. I can't use St. John Wort. It makes the pill less effective. So if you really want to see me depressed, let me get pregnant, and SINGLE... No thank you! Not gonna happen! I have been doing some research to see if I can find something that won't interfere with the pill to take.. right now, I am thinking a healthy diet and plenty of exercise would really be the key... it's just getting off my butt and doing what is right.
Angie.. I can't wait to see pictures of the new place.. sounds like you are going to be soooooo busy. Wow!
Noelle (((HUGS))) sounds like you have had a hard day... confrontations are the worst. I hope the rest of your evening gets better.
Julie, I didn't like Stu.... he would have creeped me out too.
OK.. time for the Biggest Loser.. last show.... I'll talk to you ladies later!

Good Morning! How is everyone?
Julie... Last week they announced the biggest loser was.. hmmm what's his name? Ryan. Can you believe in 6 months this man lost over 100 pounds. I am thinking they said 121.. but I can't remember. Last night, out of the people that were eliminated, The guy who won the $100,000 was Dave. He was down to 179 or something like that. It was pretty amazing to see these people now. Most of the women weigh less than ME NOW! Geeze.. if that doesn't get me motivated, I don't know what will.
Well, I better get busy here at work. I just wanted to say HI to everyone!
Cherie
