21-Day Challenge -- post-crash, everyone jump back on!!
OK, everyone, it seems we've lost our thread so I'm starting up a new one. I don't have the template for the beginning and for now I just want to make this short as I have to run.
This is a challenge where you decide on something you want to do to help change your current habits, or to start a new habit. You do the SAME THING for 21 days straight to successfully complete the challenge. If you slip up, just start counting over again. We are all on different days so when you check in just say what day you're on and we'll give you a cheer!!
The great thing about this challenge is that if you can keep something going for 21 days straight you have a great shot at changing your behavior.
Anything is OK, a lot of people are making sure they get a certain amount of water each day. I'm doing no sugar at all. Others have done situps every day. One of us is currently doing prayer every day. Anything that you want to do is OK!! So please jump on it and join us.
Still drinking my water!! Day...ummm...what day am I on? I'm thinking it's day 9? Or 10? I'll say 9 to be on the safe side.
Everything is going pretty good. Been doing more workouts at home. School is back in session and I'm ready to lose this fat that I've accumalated over the winter break!!
Hope to see more come back!! I wish I could remember everyones names.......(sorry) but please come back and lets get this challenge rolling again!
Good to see you here, michi and MNJ.
I was "forced" to eat sugar yesterday, really. I couldn't turn down food I was given without being rude so I ate it.
Then later I decided that, well, to be honest, that would count as a transgression so I decided to have some more, not that much, but enough to say I fell off the wagon.
So, I'm between challenges. Haven't had any today but just may and then start up again.
Funny/interesting thing is that I could have gorged myself today, you know, being "between" challenges and everything and I didn't!! I really thought, what do I want to do that for. It's not that wonderful, the sweet stuff and I feel bad afterward. Yo, now that IS progress. Are we talking lifestyle change or what!?!?!
I'm staying right here though. By the way, even though I've subscribed to the thread I don't get email notices though there were replies. Hmm. What's up I wonder?

Whoops. I see the reason we can't get email notification is because of the crash. I read the notice and that's the explanation. In case anyone else was wondering. . .

Been trying to fin you all! I'm on day 10 I think...or that's what I've decided I'm on! Kinda lost track after the crash but its a conservative estimate.
Hi everyone,
Is it ok if I jump on the band wagon? This is my day 3 of being in control again, and it feels so good. I'm so glad the holiday-goodie eating season is over. Now I can get serious about eating right, drinking my water and exercising. You guys are very inspiring and motivating. Great thread!!

Day 5 and Day 6 are done! Yaaaay! I've been losing soooo much weight! I love it! I'm down to 204 now. If anyone wants to see my stats, go to www.moonprism.com/table
Day 7 is done! One week! I also walked a mile on the treadmill and rode a mile on my exercise bike. Yay fitness! I'm losing weight soooo fast. I love this diet. All the chest pains are gone, my acid reflux hasn't been acting up, and I just feel better about myself. It's great!
