Okay starting today (11/9), I plan to bike about 700 miles this month (I try to bike at least 30 miles a day) and walk 45 miles this month (3 miles a day, 5 days a week)

Welcome, Kiwi! My daughter is a member of a cycling club that only meets one time per week at school. She cycles about 30-50 miles when they meet. She really enjoys it.

Why not come introduce yourself over at #50 and join in the posts?

Well I haven't been able to walk because of being sick. Yesterday (Sunday) I worked the game and wore my "mile clicker." I'm going to try hard to get my 40 miles in.

Sunday:
Walked 5.3 Miles
(Working Game)

5.3/5.3/40

I biked 30 miles yesterday, but I only do walking at the gym which I will be doing today. I live in a very rural area and its hard to walk anywhere without the risk of getting run over.

Could someone explain to me what these mean?

Kiwi-We are keeping track of how far we go. For instance, on Sunday, I ran 8 miles/40 so far this month/100 is my goal for the month.

On Dee's she is also keeping track of how far for the year and her goal for the year. Sometimes we are very anal!! I keep track of every mile I run on several websites. I have run over 1000 miles so far this year, and my goal is 1200 for the year.

Shelley - Thank you! Now, i feel a little less dumb!

I walked 3 miles, biked 15 miles and played volleyball for 3 hours. Hubby sat on my exercise bike and buckled the seat, so I have banned him from going near it!

Yes Shelley I agree that we are a little anal when it comes to marking down our distance.

Sherry you still need to take it easy. Go slow. Don't worry about not making your goal this month.

Kellye it is always nice to have someone new join us. You sure do go the distance.

Kiwi-I love Bodypump! I have the tape, I've never taken the class. The tape is a bit too easy for me.
