I suppose I never got used to using the netti pot. But I detest them.
I went to bed last night with an ear ache. This morning I woke up and my ear felt closed off. Sure enough there was swelling around the inner lobe. Think there is a pimple in there. I used a cotton swab and put some antibiotic cream in there and swelling has gone down a bunch and not as sore.
I thought about going out to the river today but didn't get in the mood to do that. I'm curious but don't want to have to back down off the levy.
Ran my errands and now am doing laundry. Sure wish my house was clean
to start out the new year.
Waiting to hear about my aunt's surgery. Briefly talked to her last night. She had to be at the hospital by 6 a.m. as she had to have some more test ran. Think surgery was supposed to start around 1 this afternoon and should take about 2 hours.
The boss finally gave me my evaluation. My lowest score was 90. My highest score was 98. They grade us on 10 different things. And received a .86 cent raise per hour. I asked him if he were enticing me to stay. He said yes. It really is tempting but I think it's time for me to leave in August. If it weren't for the stress of the job I think I could handle things more easily. But my nerves are shot.
And by the way the fridge will not be fixed until Monday. The repairman had to order a part for it. Wires had burned loose from the heater.

Ouch on the crown. I really detest dentist and I should go and have my teeth cleaned but it's been years. How nice that you helped the shelter get a new washing machine!
So far no major flooding in our area.
