Good morning to you all. It stayed warm overnight as I had the ac on the majority of the time. I have a remote for them so it is easy to turn them on and off without hopping up and down all the time.

Jack forgot to take the vacuum upstairs last night so I will have to wait until tomorrow to vacuum and dust up there. No biggy. I decided to go and get my nails done sometime tomorrow afternoon. They open at noon on Sundays.

My hands continue to hurt a lot. I may have to talk to my doctor about what to do about that. Probably nothing I can do as I don't want to take daily inflammatorys as I am concerned what it would do long term to my colon and heart. I need to look for a cream I can put on them that might help. My dad had RA really bad and it has always been a concern of mine, but I never showed symptoms of that thank goodness. It is just old age I guess.

Jack wants some rolled tacos for dinner tonight so guess that is what I will fix with some Spanish rice for him. I lasted about 3 weeks on the high fiber diet, but then would miss a day here and a day there. I am still eating 100% whole grain products and getting in fruits and veggies much more than I used to, but I just couldn't keep up the 40gr a day. I got bored with it frankly. I am just trying to limit my carbs for my diabetes and eat healthier overall. I still put everything in my points though so I know that I am not overeating.

Jean: I bet the pink and white combo looks really nice. I remember when I was a kid my mother loved gladiolas and pansies. She had them across the front of the house. My grandmother planted crocuses and something she called "chicks" which were these green spiky tiny plants without flowers. In her back yard she had one side that was tilled and full of all colors of irises and across the back she had a big flower garden with peonies and roses and several other types of flowers. I didn't appreciate them then, but thinking back they are a fond memory. Our garage completely floods anytime we get very much rain. It is a mess and of course they won't fix them. I have the few things I store out there in Rubbermaid boxes, but who knows when I open them what I will find. One of these days the whole garage is going to have to be cleaned out and hauled away. We have an attic, but have had problems with roof leaking so we don't store much up there either.

Have a great weekend all.
