How to Form New Habits with Ease
I've found that if I stick with something for 21 days +, a new habit is formed. I've done some research on this and found that it is true- if you stick with a new habit for 21 days, it becomes routine. So I've made a list of goals for my 21 day new habit.
Here it is:
* Give up sweets (chocolate, ice cream, etc) for 21 days
* Go to the gym or do some type of exercise daily for 21 days
* Listen to day time affirmations daily to keep a positive mindset for 21 days
* Wake up at the same time every day (including weekends) for 21 days
By the 21st day, most of these will become a new habit. Sometimes the hardest part is getting through those 3 weeks, but it's all about tricking the mind, which I won't get into right now.
