February was a wash . . . I'm not even sure what my weight was on the last day of the month but I know it was close to what I started the month at so that's the number I'm going with. NO MORE NUMBER GOALS FOR ME . . . I'm just going do what I know I need to do and let the numbers fall with no pressure.

December 2012: 246
January 31, 2013: 235.0
February 28, 2013: 235

04: 236.6
05: 236.4
06: 235.8

I've got to agree with you kris, February was just awful all around miserable! My work-outs were next to non-existant, didn't lose anything, moods sucked, lots of stress ugh I'm glad its over!

LOL Ladies though it isn't funny at all ...it sounds like February just wasn't a great month. Though I will say it wasn't too bad for me until the end. One of the ladies that I work with said that I look like I've loss some weight but I don't see it. She asked how I would know I told her I typically weigh daily. She said I could have loss inches. I haven't measured myself in forever so I wouldn't know whether I did or I didn't and to me my clothes still fit the same ... I think

Gmornin ladies~
Well its snowing again, calling for 2-5 inches. Dh and my dad spent Monday ripping the bathroom floor out and replacing it and of course kept finding more problems to fix so gonna take longer... thank God for 2 bathrooms lol! Went for my 2nd interview Monday for an accounting position at a local farm/park and both local and corporate management seemed happy so hopefully ill hear something positive soon from them. It sure would help my moods and my focus if this job comes thru.

Hey ladies. Happy almost Friday! Life is crazy and busy, but what's new, right? I joined a gym yesterday and signed up for 3 personal training sessions. I didn't really want to spend the money on the trainer thing but I am hoping it will get me started in the right direction. I know I can't afford to sign up for any more sessions after these three because I would have to pay regular price and they are pretty pricey. I got a deal for signing up for them when I joined the gym so I got three 25 minute sessions for $69 (I think they are regularly $44 each). This gym has a small lap pool so hopefully I will take advantage of that as well. Just have to get over my fear of working out/swimming in public. I've joined gyms before and they have always been a waste of money because I just don't go or all I do is walk on the treadmill. Hopefully this time will be different. I'm exhausted (haven't been sleeping well) so my first trainer session tonight after work ought to me interesting.

Have a good day.

Only got a dusting of snow which is fine by me im so ready for spring! I went to the gym today and did my full work-out, 30min of reverse ellipticle 57rpm 2.5miles, 35 min of strength training of my chest and 30min ab/core. According to the gym scale i havent lost a single pound in ages but i swear i "feel lighter" who knows maybe just wishful thinking.

Joy that the position comes through Joy great job at the gym and since you feel lighter you may want to check your measurements. You have probably lost inches. Way to go

Kris on joining the gym. I'm happy for you. Hopefully Ona will come back to the thread. I remember her going through the same thing at the gym two years ago I believe. When she finally got into the classes, she realized that she had the support she needed and it wasn't so bad. You can do it And LOL I know if I went to the gym the treadmill would be it for me also. I did try a few other machines but I know that walking has worked wonders for me in the past also

Me ... I got on the scale to 193.4 this morning. I'm not doing anything different eating or exercise wise, it's just life right now. I'm hoping when I that when I feel that I am above water again I won't get back up to 197. We shall see. We'll I'll see you all later, Happy Friday

Ona, Steph and Amanda hope all is well

I survived my first night at the gym. Meeting with the trainer wasn't so bad. He understood my limitations (a shoulder that's not good and a knee that hurts), but I feel like it was well worth my time and money. Two more sessions with him and then I'll decide if I am going to have any more (see what kind of deal they can give me). After my 30 minutes with the trainer I went to the Zumba class. I only lasted for half of it (30 minutes), but half is better than none. And it was a very high intensity Zumba class - much more so than what I did at the Y a few years ago. I went shopping last night and bought myself a swimsuit so I can swim laps. I have a couple of suits but I am not comfortable in them so I got a basic suit from Walmart and I already have a pair of swim shorts to go over the top of it. Tonight I plan on going after work and at least sitting in the hot tub for a bit. How crowded the pool area is (it's just a couple of swim lanes) will be the decider if I actually do it or actually swim some laps.

I am really debating buying myself one of these suits - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846. If I actually go to the pool consistently and get comfortable with going, then I think I will.

Have a great day ladies . . . I'm ready for it to be over so I can get started on a birthday cake I need to bake and decorate for tomorrow. I'm not sure I can accomplish what it is the person wants so I'd like to get it over with. lol.

Woo Hoo! . . . I did it! . . . Conquered my fear (well one of them anyway) . . . . . . went to the gym on my lunch hour . . . . . . and I put on my new swimsuit . . . . . . and I swam . . . . . . for 40 minutes . . . . . . I lost track of how many laps I did . . . but it felt sooooo good . . . I even got into a swim lane that someone was already in instead of leaving . . . I'm going to try to make it my daily lunch routine. Gets me out of the office but doesn't put me out someplace shopping . . . or eating . . . and I feel so good because I got my workout in for the day. And after I was done swimming I took time to sit in the hot tub for a few minutes. Ahhhh . . . .

Joy now a days employers do so much background check, especially in accounting. Give it a little more time, don't lose hope. You never know

Kris great going on the gym and Zumba. I love Zumba but it's hard (to me). I told my daughter (my body just doesn't move like that) She would crack up laughing at me when we'd go together. But her skinny self was just as exhausted as me after the class. I like that swimsuit. It would definitely suit me just fine and cover a great deal which would make me happy Good for you Kris on the swimming I love your sound of HAPPY

Well I ate pizza with the kids for dinner. Not good if I want the scale to continue to move. It wasn't even good. I hit the wrong button when I ordered it online and got a pepperoni and chicken pizza instead of pepperoni and sausage and we didn't check before we got it home. So I think that it wasn't that it wasn't good, it just wasn't what I wanted Huh, that was a good thing to because I didn't eat a ton of it

Here's the cake I was all stressed out about doing. I have never done a carved cake before. I am very pleased with how it turned out and the birthday boy (5 years old) was thrilled . . . and so was his mom.
