I woke up at 4 pm today, so I only got through 900 calories before the day was done with. I'll probably have wolf hunger tomorrow

I see some of you write #ds# and #Dw" what does that mean?

I saw 146.8 Wed and Thurs.
Thurs., I did BodyRock (Core)--my legs are STILL screaming, & I slept like garbage!
It's from anxiety about weigh-in. I've had this before & hate it. I'm not returning to previous behaviors. I wanna move forward!

Today's weight: 147.4 (-0.6)
Still a loss, I guess

Hello Everyone,
congrats on all the successes. Good to see your posts.
Not at all surprised by weigh in numbers this morning, 178.6lbs so still calling it 179.
All week I have been feeling effects of full fibro flare, The pain is tolerable, I have high treshold, but the IBS, the "rock hard" kind is beastly! Oy! Have had enough cod liver oil capsules, fruit, and fibre tabs for a month!

I have also been having too much salt from eating out a couple of times, so still feeling that bloat esp in neck and belly in that "I no longer have a double chin but still feels like it." way.

NSV, able to keep cals between 1500 to 1600 last weekend and 1300-1400 weekdays.

I told you about those jeans I bought at OLD NAVY being a bit roomy? Well, I have never worn them since bringing them home, ( I like not having to wear a belt with jeans sometimes so decided I should go for the 10s, incentive to lose 2 more lbs) so am going to try to exchange for size 10s. They will fit, though not as comfortably as with a 2lb loss. I compared them to my fave old, loose sz 14 Riders, and there is barely an inch diff in waist, but thighs do fit nicely snug! So apparently Old Navy's run BIG in waist.

Have a great weekend everyone

I have a confession:

At the start of 2011 my weight was 70,3 kilos and my goal was to lose 20 kilos. I only managed to lose 12 kilos. I've been beating myself up about it. I feel like such a failure for not having lost more. My failure in losing weight has made think "What's the point" and ever since Christmas break began I've been living on massive amounts of calorie rich coffee drinks ( think Starbucks) and Eating twice a day, however those two times I've been stuffing my face because of low bloodsugar and been desperately hungry. I haven't made time for proper sleeping which has made me tired and cranky.
The other day I ate a 300 gram bag ( 0,6 pounds) of cheesy nachos for dinner washed down with chocolate. Simply because I was mad at myself for not losing enough weight I've been self-sabotaging.

I need to find my intrinsic motivation for doing a lifestyle change again.

IsabellaOlivia You will find your mojo back! -- Look at Krystal and I, we have fierce determination going on; and you don't want us to catch up with you -- Seriously, don't worry, you may need a little break, and in all honesty, you did really WELL last year!

Krystal Bi-monthly sounds good.

forloveofself I am sorry about your pain! -- I have lupus and those episodes of pain were horrid. -- Once I went off gluten I have had only one lupus flare up.

------------

We have snow!! Plan is to walk 5.2 miles. I am way ahead of my weekly 20 mile goal. Feels good!
I made a meal plan; 907 calories + snacks. Hoping to stay between 1200-1300 calories for the day.
I think alaskan sent me her ear infection I have been feeling tired all week, and last night I woke up with severe ear ache. Ear had had drainage earlier on the day. -- Won't stop me tho I have some antibiotic drops that doctor gave me and I may pop in urgent care and get it checked out before it gets too bad (I had a NASTY one in October).

Everyone have a FAB day!!

I knew I should have waited to post my weigh in. I promise, my weigh in day is changing. All the anxiety I subconsciously get on Friday's inhibits my sleep too much! This morning, I was 146.4!! Ok, I said I wasn't making a "beep" notice about it in bright red and all caps.
Kristiina & Jo

Work tonight and tomorrow.
Everyone, please be nice to yourself this weekend!
I know things are getting tough, as most of us have been at this for a long time and it does start to weigh on us emotionally, but remember the reason that you-yourself- are doing this.

Perhaps it's for your children, your significant other (spouse), your family, your doctor , whatever the reason....Allow me to give you a fresh perspective....Do it today for YOURSELF. (yes, this is selfish) Not because you HAVE to, but because you choose to

Sum, Thanks for your encouragement. Kudos on your determination to walk long distance in the snow. Too many heavy laden trees here. Makes our woods scary. Some even broke under the weight of the snow.

Isabella, Congrats on your 1 lb loss. Thanks, when I started this journey, I wanted to do it for myself, not because I was trying to please anyone else. I have spent so much of my life being so hard on myself and being really driven to succeed.
I hope the bump in your journey will once again run smooth. I must admit that being kind to myself is sometimes difficult. Like you, I expected to be at my initial goal weight by now. I have mometary lapses when I just want to stop worrying about my weight, especially when I have other things to think about. But I come to this board and it helps a lot. I also e-mail or call my two friends, not to talk about weight, but because no one's life is perfect, we need to support each other, and any one in need, in anyway we can. My long distance bills are sometimes high, but it is worth it. Are you near Genova? I have a friend Chiara there.

Just over my maintenace cals for the weekend, almost blew completely today. Because I feel so uncomfortable, I wanted to have lots of comfort food. I did about 1950 cals, and 140g carbs, so not too awful. about 300 cals.

Hello Thin, princess, and anyone I missed.
K9O I hope work is going well.

Have a great weekend.
