Woot, there, Ms. JJJ2, great minds 'n all that jazz as my Day 3 was ok but not steller also! Cals kind o' high, plus tried a Tuesday weigh-in hopin' it might have gone down but it was the same as Sunday, which is ok with the way things have been trending upward for me on the scale.

Rosinate, how are ye doin', lass? Woot to thee!

Hope all is well!

JJJ2, did somewhat catch up with sleep but going to bed now to read.

Dog is parkin', she had an excitable day as another family moved in with dogs. I have not had neighbors on all sides of my yard for years and now they are all filled again and they all have animal.

Checking in - Day #11 is pretty much over for me and it has been an OK day, now on to Day #12.

Rosinate and Tess - How is life treating you?

Let's keep doing the very best we can.

Day 4, not doin' so great but not exactly knowing why, still not too bad. Crashed mentally this afternoon and had a bad headache. Just ate some pb and drank 2 percent milk (there goes the cal count) and feeling better.

Sometimes we have to remember that it is good to eat.

Trucking in a low-key kind of a way.

Not over-eating, not snacking, still walking. I feel I need to dial it up soon, though. I'm not eating nearly as much as I was but not eating nearly as little as I should.

You all seem to be doing good, well done!

Huzzah, Rosinate! Not snacking is a huge accomplishment! Woot!

I am also truckin', did have a rocky patch yesterday but feel fine today, do think it was adding some extra low glycemic calories that helped me.

This is Day 5! I am going back to bed, working a meeting tonight.

Day #12 is complete now, and tomorrow will be Day #13 for me! No, I am not superstitious. Not at all.

Rosinate - Not snacking is one of the keys to success! Good for you.

Tess - Glad you are feeling fine and getting enough sleep.

May tomorrow be a great day for us all.

Huzzah to streakers JJJ2 & Rosinate as well as a huzzah to myself lol!

I am doin' GREAT! Feel like the calorie control was superb on my part yesterday, even after working a meeting and being at that time very low (for me) on cals, I felt energetic, almost as though I had been "fasting" (not something I exactly approve of depending on the context but it is true that in a state where my blood sugar is stable but I haven't had a huge amount to eat for awhile, I feel extremely well, hard to explain, anyhow, I digress).

So anyway, ate pb and drank a bit of 2 percent milk when I arrived home, went to bed, woke up energetic.

Woot!

JOJOJO'S THOUGHTS FOR TODAY -

My Day 13 has come and gone
And I intend to soldier on
As I complete this nobel quest -
To always, ALWAYS, do my best.

Because, my friends, it's up to us
To diet without a lot of fuss.
It is a battle that we're in
And, of course, we want to win.

We'll focus on our eating right
And so we'll win our little fight!
I'll see me as a healthy ME -
Which is what I want to be.

LOVE the poem, JJJ2!!! Woo and woot also to ye for the successful transverse of 14 days of the noble quest!!!! Huzzah to ye!

I am on Day 6, still struggling with calorie overages at this point in time but also soldierin' on!

About to drink a Coca Vita Coconut Water with Pineapple, which does have calories (mostly because of the pineapple, coconut water has very few cals). Coconut water is a great natural "sports" drink, although I've been sleepin' not exercising this evening. It has tons of potassium and is a miracle reviver in the heat.

And so it goes, my friends.

Rosinate!!! Woot to ye too, hope all is well. Huzzah!

Hi, Rosinante - Keep on streakin' - you'll get there. It always takes more time than we think it should, but just keep going.

Rosinate, thou art intrepid, woot! Keep a'goin', ye are great! Huzzah!

JJJ2, woot to you! (rhymes)

As for Moi, she (me) is on Day 3 of an open ended streak that may last a lifetime. I certainly still belong on this thread because I am actually looking at it in two week chunks.

Lol, I fancifully call it the Limestone Cave initiative or whatever. It relates to goals I have for my whole life and certainly weight loss/maintenance and fitness are a huge part of that, maybe the key part that drives everything else or vice versa.

For one thing, I returned to ovo lacto vegetarian eating. I was a vegetarian (not vegan) for something like 18 years or so (actually not sure) before some issues caused me to start being an omnivore in the early part of this century. My Limestone Cave is about moving backwards in a positive way (not dwelling on the past or regressing, but retracing things to see where I am and where I want to go), so it was a good time to return to my habitual way of eating with the caveat that I may eat some beef now and then as I have iron level issues (have had forever) and heme iron is a quick way to help that, but for now I have no plans to eat to avail myself of this occasional option. The vegetarian diet will help some health problems and I enjoy it, so that is part of this, but not all.

Lol, been bloggin' this all over the internet, I am a little boring, I am afraid, but will definitely be here on this thread and hope we all stay.

I have to work today (rhymes) so must away ...
