Josey - I like your attitude about not wasting your allotted points on stuff that isn't fantastic. I kind of had that epiphany last night too. My DH cooked. (ha ha) He fried up some lean ground beef for tacos, and he put way too much salt in it. I realized that I didn't want to hurt his feelings, so I ate a little. I normally would have said who cares, and just eaten a ton of food, but last night I really felt like I didn't want to waste my weight loss efforts on food that didn't taste good. Yeah me. BTW, where in AB? I live in Lloydminster, Sk, right on the border of SK/AB. My bro lives in Calgary, and I have assorted family all over AB. Maybe if we are close, one day we could meet up, if you wanted to, of course.

Mandie: hope that scale is moving in the right direction for you! How was your visit with your friend? Were you able to leave your food there?

I'm having a great week. Well on track (I hope!) for the Vic day goal! Take care ladies!

Sure, we can meet. Maybe we should organize a meetup in Calgary sometime. I live close to Calgary btw.

Woke up, went on the scale this am- 193.4lbs. WTH?!?! I'm wondering if I need to change my weigh-in day?? LOL.

I was on plan yesterday and today with eating but not for the exercise part, though grrr. Hoping to get a 30 day shred workout in tonight.

Laura- Thank you for that waste/waist quote and the box trick, loved it!! The 3 friends I visited (all are roommates) gobbled up all of the cupcakes and cake! Only have 1 slice and 2 cupcakes left so I'm good, haha.

Amandie: maybe you were retaining water? Did you eat lots of salt on your splurge weekend? You had your fingers crossed and it worked! Good for you!
I'll be back later! Keep it up ladies!

Laura- LoL, thanks!

Gail- I'm not sure what you mean by 2 weeks with no postings? Last post was 2 days ago. I'm figuring maybe you meant to type days, not weeks?

I had a good day yesterday- went to the casino with a couple of friends, got $40 on top of my $100 which I won back (wheww, lol)!! Still lazy on the exercise part but still OP for eating, yay. I know I've said this in the last few posts but I'm gonna kick my butt and do a 30DS Level 3 session tonight!!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far!

OH MY GOSH!!! do I feel stupid...I have been checking the postings on this site for 2 weeks and there were no replies that I could see, but I never went to the next page....DUH!!!!

Well no time to catch up...I never moved the scale at all last week, and this week may be a little write off as well as I have had a few slip ups (friends over for supper leads to corn on the cob, and a glass of red wine, and sambuca after supper) Oh well, my own fault. WI#5 Monday I will keep you posted

CONGRATS Josey!!! Way to go, I am hoping to catch up to you, but like I said previously I won't hold my breath. I had such a hard time staying on IP yesterday...its the whole social thing, a few drinks and good food. I know I should have more will power, but I just wanted the things I KNOW I shouldn't have, and today I'm paying for it. I hadn't had an alcoholic beverage in the whole first month...and not that I drink often, but when we have friends over, it does lead to a few drinks. WELL, I had 2 drinks with diet gingerale and I had the WORST hangover (something I never experienced before)...No more alcohol for me until I phase out that's for sure. Plus, I felt so bloated, don't know if it was the booze or the corn on the cob. I took "Calm" this morning and I feel much better now. (TMI)
I have to get my act together as I know the rules and cheating isn't good for the system.
WI#5 tomorrow...I hope I didn't do too much damage

Haha, Gail- I subscribed to this thread so I can see new posts, more easier that way (atleast for me). No worries, tho! Here's to hoping no damage or not too much damage was done!

Josey- saw your thread, soooo happy for you!!!!

ETA: Oh yea, saw 193.6 this morning. I'm starting to think it really was water weight or something when I weighed in last Tuesday. for 193 still on this Tuesday's weigh-in!

Running and C25K? Wow, awesome! I loatheeee running/jogging, haha.

I've totally been lazy with workouts lately or maybe I'm burned out, not sure. I think I'm gonna start over- just do 2-3 times a week at least. Before I was doing it 5-6 times a week. Seriously, y'all gotta check out the 30 Day Shred (there's a free video online - tudou or something.) I honestly think it helped tone me up a little bit or a lot, depends on who you ask, haha. I don't look or feel 193lbs!

Sure, I'm gonna link it- here.

You may have to translate since the page is in Chinese (Google Chrome helps with that) but the video seems to be in English (I can't tell since I cannot hear. But if it's not, the girl on your right is the modified version and the (black) girl on your left is the harder part if you wanna give yourself a challenge.) It is the entire DVD and you will need 2 free hand weights for it but you can go without if you prefer. I went without for the first few workouts, lol.
