At any rate 173.8 is terrific!!! I am hoping that the stop in diet and the re-enter will cause a big drop over the next few days! I cant help but be discouraged at the still above 200 I am happy I have lost some weight but its been a month not (minus the 10 days I fell off) and thats probably why Im still in the 200s anyway. I plan to start walking on my treadmill today. It is an older model so Im unable to actually set the speed so I will just have to guess but it has a read out of distance but the lady said it isnt always correct! Probably why I got it so cheap but Im not complaining if I walk for an hour I will know I walked a pretty good distance. At the gym I would do 3.5 mph and could walk 1 mile in 20 min so an hour would be 3.. I can judge the speed..again its the end of the month so I am low on supplies but hopefully I can pull out a weeks worth of good meals with what I have. Dont be surprised if you see dinners for breakfast from me

Thank You I just keep jumping back and forth which is discouraging because I want to get out of the 170 and move to a new decade as they say. You can't get discouraged, you can but you shouldn't feel that way. Look at how well you have done without exercise. You had a lot on your plate and you are only up 1.4 Yay YOU!! You are goal oriented and you have a made up mind and you are gonna do this. I hope you had an OP day and you got your workout in. Your walks sound like mine. I'm getting better. I have managed to cut my 3 mile walks down from 52 minutes to 48-49 minutes at an average speed of 3.36-3.76 and at a pace of 15.58-17.49. My speed and pace are lower when there are dogs out. I am so proud of myself when I first started I couldn't do a quarter of a mile. I ran into a lady on Friday and she said she didn't recognize me because I look so different from when I first started. That made me feel really good. I only know here from seeing her at the track.

I like breakfast for dinner also. I am having a hard time with breakfast here lately. I'm not hungry when I get up but I know I have to eat in order to lose. I was trying to kick the Slim Fast thing but when I don't feel like eating it's so easy to just drink one. I need to post today's eats. Glad you're back

Glad your knee is feeling better. Hope you get to work out soon.

I posted this on the WHAT DID YOU SAY NO TO TODAY thread. ... I said NO to a double cheese burger from Burger King. We stopped at Burger King to use the restroom and the kids got Icee's and even though I had packed my lunch that burger looked so good. I looked at the nutrition facts so long trying to justify that dbl cheeseburger. Then tonight went with my daughter to Walmart and saw that huge banner with the cone for 75 cents and thought it'll be OK, I can have it. Then I called my daughter and told her I was ready to go. I was so proud of myself.

Now today's eats 8/24/10

Breakfast (250)
Chocolate Slim Fast, V8, V8 splash

Lunch (634)
2 slices of whole wheat bread w/light mayo, deli turkey and swiss, cup of grapes. Then I had to try to PB2, so I had 1 slice of whole wheat bread with 2tbsp PB2 and a tsp of apple jelly <-- I don't like a lot of jelly just a coating is fine.

Snack (105)
5 saltines with 2tbsps PB2 (so good)

Dinner (260) late
2 cups of iceberg lettuce, 6 croutons, Parmesan cheese, light classic Caesar, 6 ranch doritos, with corn/bean salsa, 2 cups diet cranberry

Total calories 1249
Water 88ozs plus 16ozs decaf green tea
Exercise 3 miles track

I didn't get to walk with the person I walked with yesterday, her husband was home from travel and they went for a romantic dinner. So I got to walk with my DH. I asked him if there was ever a time at my heaviest non-pregnant weight that he didn't want to be seen with me. He looked at me and said, "Honey I have always liked the way you look, I never thought of you as heavy, I just see my wife. As long as you were happy I'm happy". I thought that was the sweetest thing .

I consider yard work as exercise big time. It takes me 5 hours to do our yard by myself I hate it.

Catching up ...As for me, I cleaned most of the day and I am still not finished. Gonna hopefully get done tomorrow. It's so much easier when the children are in school, they help but it's not like Mommy wants it.

Today's eats 8/26/10

Breakfast (320)
2 svgs Bran Flakes, cup of skim, V8 Fusion

Snack (100)
100 cal pack Chocolate wafers (fake oreos)

Lunch (395)
2slices whole wheat, w/light mayo, lettuce, turkey and Swiss also a salad with iceberg lettuce, Parmesan cheese, garlic butter croutons and Light Caesar

Snack (160)
Apple, and 100 cal Klondike bar

Dinner (423)
h/m chili and cornbread

Total Calories 1398 plus 30cal for croutons in my salad so 1428
Water 100ozs
Exercise 3 miles track and my all day cleaning, TONS of up and down cleaning baseboards.

I have to tell you I was so proud of myself doing this. I use to get down on that floor and it would take me forever to get up. I would actually crawl to a chair or anything that would hold my weight to get up. Not today. I got up all by myself. Pat on the back
