Good morning ladies,
Just popping my head in here taking a break from list making. Sometimes taking a vacation is a LOT of work. So far things are in control - looks like the best night for the peak of the meteor shower will be rainy but it will be dry the rest of the week so perhaps we'll get lucky Wednesday. I am really looking forward to this.
Patty - I'm so glad you got the job! I'll bet that's a big relief off of your mind. Especially when you're the only one you can count on.
Laura - HB to the BF.
Hope you have a nice long weekend. Doesn't it just make you feel soooo good to have a day off of work
Enjoy. Glad to hear your lungs/chest have cleared up. Every once in a while my chest hurts/feels heavy - I think there is schmutz in the air because it comes and goes almost without notice.
Mel - hope your friends try us out. We don't bite
Did you enjoy your morning out? I love it when the mornings are refreshing - not too hot or cool - it's a bit sad because it's a reminder that fall is around the corner. But you can really enjoy them - especially if it's early and nice and quiet too. Jen's analogy about babies to oldies is pretty funny - especially because it's true. You forgot the part about stubborn and tempermental! I hope Ritchie and Jen can enjoy their week together with the family. Now go rest your eyes.
Shad - loved your half twist pike description
Don't forget the boob squish and you lean into the seat top and contort yourself. I feel the same way about cleaning back there
So DS2 is the land baron? I guess if you time it right, it can be a good investment. Many people down here and I mean MANY have summer homes or rentals. When I talked about cilantro being hard to grow, I meant just as you were describing - I planted the stuff and 2 weeks later it was starting to go to seed already. What the heck with that? How did you stop it from going to seed? It wasn't worth planting in my opinion. Bad enough the dill goes fast. And if it reseeds itself, I guess we'll be having dill and coriander growing in DH's flower garden next season
Michelle - thanks for the tip on the Oroweat rounds - I like their breads and have to check those out. That's the 3rd time I've heard about them in as many days - must be an omen! I agree with you about the foods. I still THINK I want certain things but if I do eat them, they are never as good as I thought and I'm starting to pay more attention to the fact that they either make me feel sick or I feel so tired from the blood sugar drop. With all these things in your face, WHY do we fight so very hard to stay on plan? Looks like by your signature you are making great progress on "de-pantsing yourself
WTGG!!!
Annie - glad to hear you are having fun at CVS. If you have to work a second job (or even a first) it's better if you can have some fun at it! Bummer on the pants fitting - you can never find them when you need them. Now if you had only 59 cents to your name until next month, you know you would find a slew in your size at bargain prices.
I don't know if it's just me, but it seems that I have to try every single pair of pants on because they all fit differently - like shoes. What's with that?
Ceejay - that's sort of sad that there's no trees around to make a clubhouse and the boys had to resort to a ditch. At least they are good for tornado season - ok, so that was a BAD joke.
I think you need to find them a refrigerator shipping box and relocate them
Ok, I have a ton of things to do so I'd better get off this computer and get busy.
Anyone use a portable GPS for maps and stuff? If so, which and how do you like it?
