Yep, went out to dinner with a friend from Melbourne who was in town. Didn't get in until late so forgot the crunches and went to bed.

Not work that causes the problem, its the recruiting company and the 'consulting' company. I'm just digging in my toes and telling it the way it is and what ever happens happens.

I realized late last night that I forgot to post yesterday (for Tuesday's results).

Day 7
3 servings of veggies daily - done 2 pauses left
60 ounces of water daily - done 2 pauses left
Physical Therapy exercises daily - done 2 pauses left

and here's Wednesday's results:

Day 8
3 servings of veggies daily - done 2 pauses left
60 ounces of water daily - done 2 pauses left
Physical Therapy exercises daily - done 2 pauses left

Sounds like all of us had a rough day at work yesterday. Mine wasn't really at work, but at a meeting with a client that I do freelance website work for. Oh well. It'll all work out, one way or another.

Shad - I hope your situation between the recruiting company and the consulting company improves.

Red - I hope you find the path that leads you to the changes you desire.

Hugs,

Day 10 - Water challenge done - two pauses taken
Day 8- Crunches done - three pauses taken - Gonna have to start this one again.
Day 7 - No snacking done - 1 pauses taken

Well struggling along here. No time to do too much. Feel asleep on the couch before doing the crunches so that's the end of that. Will start that again today.

Thumbs up Count me in?

Hello Ladies!!

I have tried this thread a long, long time ago and didn't last too long, but I am back and better then ever. LOL

I am have done well so far with my current weight loss ventures that started in Sept 09- I am at 45 lbs down now. I am getting a bit lazy in my plan and I need to switch things up a bit.

I am a WW member and changed the food plan I follow this week in an effort to jolt myself back into excitement... This challenge I hope will the other component that helps me keep going!

My challenge is:

Level 3 -Stick to simply filling plan and count extra items from weekly points.

Level 1 -Ride my bike for at least 60 minutes daily. (I already ride 5 days)

That is enough for me for now!

I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Chat with you soon-

Thumbs up good for me!

Had another good day! But my skin is horrible. Every time I exercise a lot and push myself it gets really bad. Oh well, just need to try to get some sleep. Overeating is NOT going to help.

**************

miriam -- Whats's up? Tell us what's going on!

Shad -- Why start over? You can make it through less than 2 weeks without a pause on crunches.

diyana -- Limelight real soon! Good for you!

akacutie -- Welcome to our humble thread! Best of luck on your challenges! Atta girl! Heh, what's with your goal weight. It looks like you're already under it! Was that an initial goal perhaps?

Angry sick of it!

I'm so discouraged. All week I have weighed myself and all week the scale has refused to budge. This is NOT possible!! I can't understand it. Come on, I couldn't literally have worked out more. I was pushing myself hard. And NOT eating much, including salty things, so what goes? It's SO discouraging.
I'm about to just plain give up. This is infuriating.

Wink ......

Heh, Shad, I had to laugh at your one-liner. It was just the thing. I don't think I could have stood anything else, either way, harsh or soft (well, soft is always OK). I read it on my phone from outside and had to laugh. So Shad. Thanks. It made me smile and that is rare and much needed these days.
Well, I'm home now in the afternoon before heading out again. Riding was so tough. I was exhausted and near tears to start with. But it was a needed lesson.
Sigh.
Why can't my body be a bit more cooperative, huh? I want to lose weight. It should know that and go along with it. I'm not going to starve.

**************

Well, Shad, I thought you could make it through those challenges, but, up and at 'em again, eh? Good attitude....a lot better than mine.

Unhappy no help....

Well, there's no help there for me yet. My weight is up to an all-time (recent) high and I take it as a sign that losing weight for me is not in the stars. I know, I know, I'm not really thinking that, but when I really need a boost and some recognition for the work I've done this week, all I get is this crap. Though I haven't declared them, I am doing the usual challenge thing, no alcohol, smoking or eating sugar. I'm always trying to stay aware of my mindset when I feel like lunging for the food and stop the feeling of "entitlement" because I'm being so "good." But, heh, what goes with this shishkabob, eh?

Bodies are never co-operative. Always something that hurts, or just plain gets bigger, or doesn't want to move.
I'm also at an all-time high. I just have to take each day as it comes, work on portion control, activity, and pigheadedness and believe me, nothing feels like it is working.
I think I am allergic to Sydney, to work, and to working out. I'm unhappy at all three.

Still I carry on with what I can.

Day 12 & 13 - Water challenge done - two pauses taken

Day 9 - No snacking done - 1 pause taken

Starting over the crunches tonight, was going to start Saturday, but...... Actually Saturday was a very busy day and I must have walked 10 or more kilometres. That has to count for something. However something I ate or maybe just sheer exhaustion caused a bad reaction on Saturday night and I spent yesterday resting up, snoozing, doing laundry, reading and watching tv.
I must be getting old. It now takes me all night to do what I used to do all night.

Hi, very overwhelmed with having to work and take care of the kids and house as my husband is in the states. i odn't have the option of taking any time off and i'm just going bananas.

my eating has been very good, and like you , RED, i'm frustrated at the lack of results and the constant states of headaches. ugh.

i don't seem to be able to commit to any challenges, as you see even just checking in I have bombed. sheesh.

i'm so tired of everything. and so tired, period!

so that's what's going on with me, Red, sorry you asked? LOL
