Happy - You are so perceptive! I was very frustrated and am still a little. You are correct...people can be such zydzyks. But I don't really want to go into it because there's no sense in perpetuating the negativity. I'm just going to switch my focus to more positive, upbeat thoughts....Like how much I really do like my full-time job, and how much I enjoy working on websites, and how nice it is to have the extra income...and how lucky I am to have such a wonderful family and friends...and of course, my furry "kids" too. Sorry you have such a headache. Does muggy weather bring it on? I know when we have a big humid storm front move through, I can be more susceptible to migraines. I also know that my asthma is sometimes worsened by humid, "heavy" air. Hope you feel better very soon and have a wonderful day, despite the grey weather. I've been wondering about all this coach stuff as well. Sometimes, I think I'd like a weight loss coach (but then again, I have one - my personal trainer/coach at the gym). You're right...as coaches go, they don't get much better than the Coach on Cheers! Thanks for making me smile!

Hey All..totally missed yesterday. It was the busiest day from H*LL. Didn't get home from work till 6:30. I am usually home by 5:00. Was dizzy all day with a bit of nausea, think it was because I ran out of my anti-depressant on Sunday while awaiting the mail in order to get here. I checked on line and sure enough dizzy and nausea are side effects of stopping cold turkey. So I went and whined to the pharmacist and he gave me a couple to hold me over. I am feeling better today. SHu weee. I am still busy at work tho, but needed a break so chat with my worldly girlies.

MEL...thank you for the BD wishes, however I am not celebrating this year. OMG 49. No other age as EVER bothered me, but 49 and 50 are freaking me out. I guess cause of all the wrinkles, skin, and gray hair. YIKES. I know it beats the h*ll out death, but it is still scary old.

Happy...sounds like you and I have the same kind of sinuses. Certain oders and whatnot cause me migraines and sinus issues. I cannot even wear perfume....thinking about it gives me a headache.

Ms. Chelle...work your frustrations out at the gym. Business coach, sheest, now I have heard it all.

Ceejay...the bike ride was fantabulous. I think I am happiest on the back of Tony's bike. It is so awesome.

Hi to Jolly, Shad, Ruth, and anyone else I may have missed.

Have a great Thursday.

Love and Hugs

Afternoon all

Happy
I'm beginning to think I have allergies to the weather! I've been having some symtoms of asthma but keep forgetting to tell the doctor. The scariest is the tightening of the air passages.

Mel
Enjoy your day tomorrow. You deserve it

Michelle
I'm proud of you for joining the wellness class.

Annie
I felt the same way when I turned 50. Hope the dizziness and nausea goes away soon.

Jolly and Shad Hope your day is going well.

I've been off today but haven't accomplished much of anything.

Went out to refill the bird bath last night and decided to wash the accumulating fuzz out of the a. c. unit. I didn't see it at first but there was a green snake, about 24 inches, coming out of the a.c. Guess I'd hit it with the water hose. Luckily the ac came on and the impeller blade caught it. I hate snakes. We've had a lot of rain this year.

Hello Ladies,

This week has flown by. I have only gotten 1 workout. I had to travel two days this week, leaving the house at 6am and not returning until 5pm, is not my idea of fun. And to top it off, when i travel, i tend to munch in car...I tried to prepare for that, bring apple, popcorn, but when i made a pit stop, I bought chips..

Thanks all for now... i'm tired... I will post more this weekend...

Morning all,
New day, new attitude. Depression buzz off.
Actually I overslept this morning due to tossing and turning and having to get up several times to visit the little house. I've been sort of stressing over this assignment they gave me. I'm getting sort of there, but with all the other crap going on, it's taking time.
This weekend, I am working Saturday morning. Then in the afternoon, I'm going to see the Fire Water on the harbour. It is supposed a replication of the sinking of the 'Three Bees' and it should be interesting.
The blurb goes:
Take a journey back to 1814 as a ghostly convict ship emerges from the dark waters of Campbells Cove and explodes into flames.
It's a recreation of the fire that devastated the 19th century convict ship Three Bees sending it's cannon balls blazing across the harbour. There is also supposed to be a floating lantern festival. It should be fun.
Sunday will be grocery and farmers market shopping and tripping around the city to see what is photographable (is there such a word) and generally trying to keep warm and enjoy myself. It is freezing here at the moment. Even the natives are complaining about the winter cold!

No time for personals at the moment. I'll check back later and maybe find another couple of minutes to spare.

I apologize folks. I just came in to vent. I picked up a 3rd shift in one of my group homes tonight to help out. An awake 3rd shift. So, left work a little early so I could come home and get some sleep, since i have to go back into the office after the shift tomorrow, and have a 3 mile run and a 1 hour personal trainer session. Long day. So, go to bed, and an hour and a half into my sleep, my mother calls. I explained I was working tonight, and could I call her tomorrow, and she goes sure but . . . .I finally had to interupt and explain again, I was working tonight, could I call her tomorrrow. She says sure in a huff. But then I couldn't fall back asleep. So, I will have a very long day on a 1 1/2 hour nap. Great.

Other than that, not much to report. Still not eating right. STill not working out as I should. Basically, feel like a

to all. Shad, totally enjoy the festival. Sounds cool. Weird thing to celebrate, but still cool.

Happy Friday ladies -

I went to the gym last night and had a great cardio workout and did my PT exercises there. I've got a PT appt today over my lunch hour and then acupuncture after work. Hopefully, the treatments will do the trick so that I'll be able to walk around a very large zoo in Chicago tomorrow. And hopefully there will be lots of benches for when I need to sit. After the zoo, I'm hoping that we go to Lou Malnati's for dinner. We've been there once before and they have THE BEST Chicago style deep dish pizza. Of course, I looked up the points for deep dish pizza and it's 48 points! Still and all, we don't get to Chicago very often and dang it, their pizza is a very special treat, and I'll have done A LOT of walking to work it off. (see how I can justify anything, ladies!) Weather permitting, we may be fishing on Sunday!

Shad - Wishing you a nice weekend after the week from h*ll that you've had. Sounds like an interesting festival. Enjoy!

Annie - Happy Birthday! So nice of your boss to buy you an outfit! Hope you have a great day and a wonderful weekend!

Ceejay - I actually don't mind non-poisonous snakes at all. I would even like to have one for a pet, but between our 3 dogs and a bearded dragon lizard, DH says we have enough. I hope you get your allergies/asthma under control.

Patty - It's so hard to eat right when you're on the road. Good for you for bringing along healthy snacks, next time bring a little bit more.

Jolly - It's hard when people call when you're sleeping and then don't get off the phone. Hang in there. I hope you get to relax a little this weekend. Try and eat right, especially today, when you're sleep deprived AND still working out, your body needs healthy fuel more than ever.

Happy - Enjoy your mental vacation! Do you have planned yet for your vacation days?

Mel - enjoy your relaxing weekend - starting right now!

Lots of love and hugs to all,
