It sounds as if you are having a wonderful time Dee! Well...all except for the snakes part! Please try and send some warm weather and sunshine our way. We have 6 inches of new snow and now freezing rain is falling on top of that...yuck! How many days until spring?

I have some good news! Travis received his orders and he and dil will be heading to Cherry Point, NC in March! The best part is that they will be stopping here for a visit on their way! It's been 2 years since I have seen my baby...I guess I don't have to tell you how excited I am!

Wonderful news Suzy, I know how you miss that boy! Way to go on the exercise and weight loss, sounds like you have a plan thats working.
We have two weddings to go to in August this summer. I do not want to be carrying this extra weight. There will be family I haven't seen in a long time and I will feel so bad if I'm still this fluffy. My foot is starting to feel better.
I have been getting laser, ultrasound and lots of stretching exercises for about three weeks now. It is helping.
Dee - what the heck are you doing with snakes????
Yes it is cold up here and snows constantly - what can I say, I need sunshine. I get depressed with all this cold.

I'm back on the same plan that I used before...just basically common sense eating (lower calorie, lower fat, and watching portions) and exercise. I'm still struggling with my eating though...especially in the afternoon. I think I need to find something to keep myself busier in the afternoon to keep me out of the kitchen.

I'm glad that your foot is feeling better Janice! It sounds like the pt is helping.

Goal - 750 min. / 30 min. today / 270 min. total

Suzy - I am here, just worked the weekend so haven't posted. Still struggling with the sugar monster that lives in me.
I think Dee is still away.
Allison and Shelley where are you??

I'm here, just checking in. I'm flying to SLC to see my Mom later this week, so you wont' hear from me for a few weeks. Meanwhile my MIL is having surgery today and my dog needs to go to a vet specialist because of an eye infection and a broken tooth. My regular vet referred him due to his heart murmur and his advanced age. I can't get him in to see the specialist until 3/17, though.

Allison - enjoy your time with your Mom. Good luck with your dog, I know it is though when our animals are not feeling well.
Shelley - come back, come back, wherever you are! We miss you.
We know Dee is soaking in the sun. The weather here is just cold and more snow.
Anybody know anything about the Flat Belly diet? I saw it on a talk show and was curious what its all about.
Suzy - keep up the good work.

Janice ~ I noticed a thread here in the misc. clubs forum about the flat belly diet, but I really don't know much about it.

Allison ~ Have a safe trip! Well miss you while you are gone.

Dee ~ Please bring back sunshine and warm weather with you when you come home!

I have been checking out the thread on the Flat Belly diet. It sounds very interesting and people are losing weight fast. I ordered the book so will let you know what I think when it gets here.
More snow in the forcast for tomorrow. We are so tired of winter. We went to a restaurant beside the lake yesterday. Lots of folks out on the lake ice fishing. There was a tournament this weekend. I am happy sitting watching out the window.

Hi Beth,
Everything is going good for me. Hope all is well with you. Seems like the rest of the floozies are all on holiday.

I've been out of town visiting my Mom. She should be going home from the nursing home this Friday. She still has the heel sore but home health can help with the dressing changes and she is no longer in the leg splint. She's still very weak and will need a wheelchair as well as a walker. She gained 2 pounds the week I was there--I think she was depressed and therefore not eating like she should. I hope that once she is home she eats well and gains--she needs to gain about 10 pounds or more.

Allison - so glad that you are back. It sounds like your Mom is on the mend and that is good news. She will probably feel much better once she is home.
I have been following a healthy diet using the Biggest Loser plan and made menu's ahead of time so I know exactly what I should be eating and when.
I want to be much lighter before summer.
It has been very lonely on the Floozies lately.
