Day 11 - Exercise - good - 1 pause left
Day 1 - count calories - good - 3 pauses left

Ok, just a quick catch up. Had one of those busy days with Dr. appts, errands and the promise to my son that I would bake 7 dozen for the football team for after his game tomorrow. I did get it done, but of course it didn't help the amount of calories I had today. Luckily, most of them are to be given away to a bunch of hungry teenagers!

gramma! Glad to have you join us!
Your list looks pretty complete. I'm sure you'll find some good ideas for challenges. I go back sometimes myself to see what I might want to add in for something different.

Good night all! Gotta get myself to bed.

Ok, one more day done! Hurrah! Day 5 in the bag!
gramma, looks good. Just start slowly, with something easy but that needs accountability to keep you doing it. dj, good one! Shy, Elerine, Crawl, Quiet....hmmm...sounds like a very quiet, kind of slow-moving bunch... Just kidding! Best of luck! Nikki, you still out there?

Day Five

2L water? need to have a bit more, but check!
no junk? check!
breakkie? check!

It's funny, but the 'no junk' rule is the easiest to follow so far!

Default Thanks for the encouragement!

It does look like a great bunch here!

I know I can't get the exercise in every day, but I do think I can get in some serious stretching. I feel that is really important for me. It is something I get very lazy about, even on days I do exercise. I know it will make me feel better which will hopefully make exercising easier. Maybe I will combine that with water and really get myself all squishy and bendy!

I think this may be it. Stretching and water. Just trying to decide if it's a serious enough challenge.

Day 2 - count calories - good - 3 pauses left

gramma - I know what you mean about the stretching. I had the hardest time with that one too! It took a long time for me to learn to enjoy it and even though I do now enjoy it, I sometimes find myself slacking off on it.
As far as whether or not your challenges are hard enough, if they're something you need to work on, then, they're probably a good challenge.

Good job Elerine and Red!

Have a great day everyone!

Default Can't sleep

I hate when my body thinks it's a work day on a day off. Internal alarm doesn't have a snooze button.

Shy-is that a "Walk away the pounds" video?

It's so great when you find something you enjoy!

Keep up the great work!

Hey Guys!

Yeah, Red - I'm still here!! Sorry - I'm a slacker poster lately! I've been bogged down this week with exams & papers - 1 exam & 1 paper down, 1 exam & 1 paper to go! Wish me luck! My wireless connection has been down at home, so I haven't been able to get online much, and I'm having to do this from work (shhh, don't tell!).

Monday (Day 6)
Workout - complete Tracking in my diary - complete

Tuesday (Day 7)
Workout - complete Tracking in my diary - complete

Wednesday (Day 8)
Workout - MISSED IT! Uggh - that's 1 pause used up, 2 left!
Tracking in my diary - complete

I hope everyone is having a great week, I'm sorry I don't have more time right now, hopefully - I'll be back 'up' at home soon!

Day 13 & 14 - Exercise - good - 1 pause left
Day 3 & 4 - count calories - good - 3 pauses left

Another quick catch up for me. Off to Yellowstone once again to bring my husband supplies. Hopefully, this is the last time. He was told the job would be finished next week and he can actually come home once again!

Have a great day all!

Eeep.....I know I haven't been posting on here. Fell off the bandwagon over these past few days. I'm going to have to start over with my challenges.

~still want to drink at least 6 glasses of water a day
~Alternating 30 pushups/30 crunches daily
(so Monday I'd do pushups, Tuesday crunches, etc)
~Exercising 30 minutes daily

I want to stick with the same goals because they shouldn't be so hard to stick to! *sigh*
Allowing 3 pauses for the crunches/pushups
Allowing 3 pauses for the exercise

Thanks for the welcome back Shy.

I was so excited because for a couple of days the weather seemed to be getting cooler here...but that's only in the morning. It gets up to the low 80's during the day. Ugh.

It's October!!....why can't I have pretty Fall weather to go walking in?
