Default HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

HELLO THINSTERS!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well my Christmas was just lovely! My MIL decided not to come to dinner (she's njot good with people) and my SIL couldn't make it because of the bushfires, but nonetheless a lvoely day was had by all. Charlie did really well - like she got half a toy store - but also she wasn't too bad at unwrapping, well at least pulling the paper until a bit came off that she could eat. LOL. And her favourite present? A toothbrush. Gosh kids are funny...

We went down the coast for a few days and it was nice. I get a bit stressed there though, hard with 6 people in a van including a baby and everyone just wants to sit around and do nothing. I'm not good at that! We also went out to dinner at a buffet on Friday and we let Charlotte feed herself for the first time. My gosh what a MESS! It was so funny, I just picked her up under the arms and carried her with my arms out to the parents room and stripped her and put new clothes on. THEN she could have a hug.

We had a party at our house on New Years. It was good except people vomitted everywhere, including our loungeroom. Gross! You'd think by mid twenties people would be able to handle their alcohol or at least puke in a messy garden bed! I stayed sober enough to jump on my bike at half after midnight and cycle to bf's Mums whre Charlie was for the night and give her a feed and a kiss. I then went home and had a few champagnes! Yesterday we cleaned for ages, we only had like a dozen or so people over, but what a mess! Then we relaxed and today I'm back at work.

Okay, messages.

Jo - Only two pounds? You are so Miss Dramatic - I was expecting far more than that from your posts! LOL It will be gone very quickly I'm sure.

Judy - I'd love to have a fat old Grandma as a friend, how about you - fancy a chubby young Mum for one?

Sherry - You are absolutely right, I love the Ya'll. He he..

Chrissy - You sound like you are really heling your family out. What a sweetheart you are. Glad your Dad is doing better.

Sassy - Same to you re your Papa. And how wonderful that you got to see Tracy get her stripe! She sounds like she's doing really, really well in her career!

Okay, well I should do some more work. 7 weeks of fulltime work til I get made redundant. After being at home with my darling girl for a week, I don't htink I'm going to mind too much. Now just need to find a part-time job waitressing or something. Any ideas?

Love to all. Oh and re the scale, I think it's about the same (hope so!), but I'll see tomorrow when I weigh. Couldn't face it today!
