Good morning, ladies!

Marti - our fair begins today, and Jackson is entered in the baby contest. I've planned a health dinner for before we go, so I'm not temped by fair food. Yay for you journaling again. It really helps so much. I write mine on lined school paper each evening while I'm watching tv, for the next day, and keep the pages in a 3-ring binder.

Mindee - glad you had fun in Ohio. One more thought about the GMIL - I'd skip the flowers and send her only a card, then spend the flower money at Chuck E Cheese with the kids. Jackson found his toes this weekend. It's hilarious to watch him try to get them, lol.

Cristina - have you got a date with the soldier's family yet? I admire you for walking in the humidity. It would kill me, lol. Who's getting married in Sept? If you have a Goody's where you live, they have the cutest summer dresses on clearance.

Sue - hahahaha, I laughed out loud when I read your "way too hard" comment. You crack my up! No, I've never used one, but the elliptical is just a bigger version of it, I'm thinking. Glad your earache is better. I watched a medical show last night about a gal who had a June bug in her ear canal. Yikes!

Dee - sorry about your foot, car, and money troubles, and hope things get better real soon. My Mary was (still is!) my talker. Now she has 3 little talkers of her own, lol.

PJ - time to change your ticker the the 40's! WOOHOO!! I'm excited for you! My vacay in Fla is 222 days away. How's your ear today?

Mary Kate, Jules, Sassy Tammy, Jodi, Vann, hope all is well for you. You're missed, and I hope you check in soon.

Wow, the weekend went by so fast! Mary and I went school clothes/supplies shopping Saturday. She got some good bargains. Then Neal and I had company Sat nite. Yesterday, I had my ex-inlaws over for dinner, we all had such a good time. Neal likes them as much as I do, since he has so much in common with my ex-fil. They and I always stayed friends after the divorce, because it's easier on kids that way, plus they are simply such good people.

Today I'm babysitting again, then tonight Neal and I are going to the fair. As I mentioned, Jackson is in the baby contest. Also, my great niece has a photography exhibit in the 4-H display and I want to see that.

Have a good one, and I'll see you later!

Good Morning ladies--

This one is going to be a quicky for now......my arms are killing me.

We went kayaking and spent 4hrs or so paddling! Well....my hubby did most of the paddling since I kept getting us going in circles! but it's a major workout!

I have some photos I'll share later, maybe after work........

Ok...I need coffee and some breakfast.

I shall chat w/you all later tonight.

Evening Ladies!!

I finally made it home and ran all day yesterday and today. Just sat down to watch the CMA music festival, eating North Carolina watermelon trying to flush out the 3 lbs I gained last week. We had a great time, did alot of beach walking but I guess I ate more than I exercised. Going back to work tomorrow No time for individuals tonight but promise to catch up sometime this week.

Marti--I just caught you singing on the CMA music festival tonight,...err I mean Sara Evans. I swear girl you look just like her.

Hugs to everyone, I'm pooped and need to settle down and try to get relax before going to bed. See ya!!

Quick one here too as I am worn out. I rode 8 miles today then grocery shopped. DH and I went shopping for flagstone to make a walk-way....well, we found big slabs of stone that we liked and bought 1500 pounds. Guess who helped him un-load and lay a part of it? Yeah...you got that right. We have to finish tomorrow.
I started journaling/counting calories. Feel the need to do something different. I rode 41 miles last week and when I got on my scales it was the same. What the heck does a body have to do to lose? I had 2 people ask me if I had lost weight last week and I KNOW my legs are getting more shapely. So, okay, this is the point where I usually throw in the towel. But...I am just going to re-vamp and try harder.

Hi to Mindee, Marti, Dee, Cristina, PJ and glad to see Jane and Tammy back. Now, where are the rest of the missing JL's??? Don't make me come get you!!

Good Evening Ladies

Hope everyone had a good weekend...thought I was gonna die yesterday with that silly earache but about 9:30 last nite it just stopped, not sure why but I was sure glad LOL, needless to say yesterday was an off day exercise wise, but I got my 2 hours on the treadmill in today and earned a new blister LOL...had a heck of a storm roll through this morning, we needed it though so the rain was welcomed...had a chicken breast with some Mrs. Dash marinade for dinner tonite and just finished cutting up a watermelon so I'm gonna have some here in a few...well have a Good Evening All and I'll be back tomorrow.

Sue - Glad your ear is better, mine is still a little sore but 1000% better then yesterday

Mindee - He's been driving for 9 yrs

Jane - Woo Hoo I can't wait to go!!! I got our custom maps with all our favorites on them in the mail today so I have been dreaming all day LOL, I wish they hadn't put 2 parks on each map I want to get them matted and framed.
