Hey all. I just had to report that, with only a minimum of self arguement, I did my 2 mile jog this mroning. My ankle was locked up, so I did walk a half block, but started back up and jogged out the last long block.

Have a great day.

Day 6 - good - Follow eating plan - level 3
Day 6 - good - At least 1/2 plate vegies at dinner which I eat first - level 3
Day 6 - good - Put utensil down between bites - level 3
Day 5 - good - Only eat while sitting - 2 pauses left

Red - So glad to hear your other cat came home!

Summerlove and Lalique! Glad to have you join us.

Jolly - Good job on the jog! Everytime I go out to walk, I think of you and try to convince myself to jog a little. I quit smoking over 5 months ago now, and breathing is easier, but still not as good as it could be. I'll keep trying though!

Apple - Good job on the beer! I'm thinking I should start a "no wine" challenge! I usually only have 1 glass a day, but it sure adds up in calories.

Hey all. Thanks DJ. I am slow, but I go. Red, glad you found your kitty.

I met all my challenges today, even with a bad lunch choice. My huge news is I finally have figured out the section on the LSAT that has been giving me such a hard time. On practise sections, I went from 10/26 right to 23/25. Hurray. I have a chance.

Have a good one all.

Smile cruisin'!

Hi all. Sorry I haven't declared my challenges. I AM doing very well though. I have been exercising and NOT overeating and I am getting the fat off. It feels great! Heading to the gym now. Hope to get a good workout in!

**************

dj -- That's what pause days are for...THOSE days. You're doing fantastic! Keep up the good work. I love seeing your posts. You really have a never-say-die attitude, an attitude that will prevail!

Apple -- I am so proud of you! I KNOW how hard that no-beer is. You will start to see results. The beer just PACKS on the calories. Power to you!

summerlove -- Welcome!!

jolly -- Great news about the LSAT!! And good for you on those challenges! Keep it going!

Day 13 exercise, Day 8 no beer. The beer hasn't been too hard since we don't have any. And I was able to choose an alternate beverage when we ate out. We like to eat at Brew Pubs, that makes it very difficult to avoid a cold one.....
DJ, don't worry about one of those days. I can't afford one for another week or I'll bomb on the exercise challenge....

Hey all, and a belated welcome to the newbies.

I agree with Apple, DJ - don't worry about "one of those days." Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and make a better choice next time. You can do it. Apple, you can do it with your exercise too. And good job picking something different when you went out. Red, huge KUDOS to you for doing well on vacation and just getting back. I would think the jet lag would be killer.

I met my challenges for the day. Day 2 down. I did eat out for lunch when it wasn't on my menu, however, I forgot my lunch this morning. And I did go for a healthy option, so . . .

Have a great night all

Well, I did better yesterday, but did take another pause on the 1/2 plate of veggies at dinner. I was so busy that I just didn't cook.

Thanks for the understanding Jolly, Red & Apple!

Hope you are all doing ok! Gotta run.

Well. I've been thinking that I really have to cut back hugely on my eating. I honestly feel that I'm exercising enough that it should make a difference even with just normal eating but it's not. I'll have to come up with a plan I guess. I'm probably being impatient too and there's the frustration with weight loss, right? I also was hoping that my thyroid medication would help but it hasn't made a bit of difference, in ANY way, not just with my metabolism. My dosage probably needs to go up.
Day 14 exercise, Day 9 no beer

Hey all. Not such a great day. Work is really stressing me out today. I am waiting to hear if a client is going to be taken to a mental hospital by the police. And I have an angry client mother to deal with. Fun fun fun.

I am taking a pause on the eating today. Pure stress eating. I will also be taking a pause on my exercise tomorrow. I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to a conference tomorrow, and have been sleeping so crappy this week that I just can't get up the extra early I would need to, to work out. Sorry.

Hope everyone else has a better day.
