G'morning!!

I feel a bit lighter but I don't know. I weigh Monday mornings, I saw some of you all do that too. It works for me so I'm really good on weekends! LOL

I hit my 10k yesterday so that was good too. Doing well on my food too. Just gotta do something about my water. I just like it when I'm finished exercising. The rest of the time, I gotta make myself go drink.

Well, gotta get kids off to school!! Have a great day!!!

Good Morning! I really do think, checking here first thing in the morning, help sets my tone for the day, when it comes to how I'm going to eat etc. Thats probably a competely different addiction and case study though! I have SO many errands to get done today, so I'm out of the house completely. Have a wonderful day!

OK ladies I found the new thread! Things are going well, eating had been ok, and exercise is going great! just fighting extreme fatigue esp in the mornings. I just have to get my rear in gear, and get moving no matter what and that seems to help. Also need to get to bed on time...I have been up way too late all week. Thinking about instituting a 9pm bed time for a week, so I can get a little more rest. Well, I have to get the girls dressed, and get the laundry done, and the dishwasher loaded, then off to the gym! have a wonderful day!!!!

Later chicas!

Good morning everyone !
I just finished my three mile WATP. I need to hit the shower as I am a super sweaty for some reason.
The good news is that when I checked the scale I was down to 225,which makes six pounds ! To me that is like 600 pounds and I know I have lose ten times that amount to be "average size". It still means things are working and very well worth it !
I am heading towards my Mom's unless she is in a funk. I will be gone most of the day which is why I atleast got the cardio out of the way.

Hi Selina, Angi, Ellen, and Sirak!

Thanks, Selina for getting this new Feb. thread up and running! Congrats on your steps! About the water...try just keeping a bottle in the same room as you are. That helps me remember and has helped me drink water rather than grab some food when I'm really just THIRSTY!

Ellen- Glad to hear that foods and exercise are going well for you! Sorry about the tiredness! I think it goes with being a MOM! Have you had your iron checked? I was getting tired and found mine was low.

Sirak-SIX POUNDS! Wow!

Angi- You are right about coming to 3FC. I stop by several times a day. It helps me stay focused on what I need to accomplish, and the people here are SOOOO encouraging!

I'm enjoying working out with three less pounds to lug around! That plateau finally broke which had me at 210 FOR EIGHT MONTHS! Robin got me to check out FitDay, and I was able to discover that I was eating WAY too many carbs. I think that may have been my problem!

Hello, I am a newbie and I have read some of your posts.

I really look forward to hitting onederland and would like to you this thread.

I am a mother of 5 ages 20 - 6. one in college one in the air Force (he just left for boot camp)
I work at a college as the safety specialist. hubby stays home... he has MS. He is the stay at home parent now.... we always said he would raise the last one. Which sometimes I have to bite my tongue.

I am doing pilates 2X/week, Yoga 3X/week, eilitical 4Xweek. and trying to do Dance Dance revolution on the weekends with kids.
I am also trying to do the 6 week body makeover thing.

Got to run to a meeting.

Welcome worldsbestmom5!!! We are very happy to have you join us!!! The more, the merrier!!

I know how busy you must stay with working AND having lotsa kids. I stay here while my dh works. We have two of our own, Christian is 5 and Emily is almost 20 mos.. plus we have up to 4 more (when we have foster babies) at a time here as well! It can be chaotic but we really do thrive on organization for most things. We have a time for everything, and a place for everything! We want to end up with between 4 and 6 kids of our own eventually but I'm too worn out chasing Emily lately to even think about that now! Plus all the others are little too. I have 2 in Kindergarten, 1 in Pre-k and Emily now. I have two openings for when they need us to take more and usually we get children these ages. So I might end up having 6 kids in Kindergarten and under! I will be running around alot then!

I think it's great to hear about others with lots of kids. Maybe you can give me some tips on things like the ever-present, "I'm bored!" and things like that.

Welcome WorldsbestMom5 ! Glad to see you here.
I was thinking of adding some pilates. I did really well before I got pregnant.
Is the "Six Week Makeover" a tape or part of a TV series ?
I think I need more than six weeks on this body.
I am in the mindset that there is a whole lot of me that needs to be madeover.
I am taking time to blow dry my hair in the mornings- or afternoons so it actually does the little flip on the ends.I am thinking one of my goals is to replace my makeup that is probably two years old ( I rarely go anywhere- we live twenty miles from town).I am planning to be around more at the school and try to fit in with the townies a bit more. It's the little things that have to change first.
When I first came home with my Daughter they told me I had to drink x amounts of water a day to nurse. So I took a big mug and measured it and figured I would have to drink two of those a day.You might want to try that or fill a pitcher in the fridge so you can see how much you need to drink.

Hiyas worldsbestmom5! Welcome! Now, about that name, can I just refer to you as 5? I will never not typo that without thinking. I think this is a great group! I've got a 3 yr old daughter and an 18 mos old son, the girl just turned 3, but she thinks she's 30. My finacee also has 3 kids from a previous marriage, 8, 7 and 5, so when we have all his kids in one house, there's 5 of them running around. I so feel your business!

Today was a bad day for eating, I had so much to do, and it's so hard to do 3 weeks worth of errands stuck in traffic! Fast food, but partially healthy, a parfait and a salad. BLECH. It was horrible, but it has to have been better than that double stacker I was eyeballing.

I did manage to hit the library again, I love that place, I can test drive ALL the exercize DVD's, for FREE. YAY! Then, extend the ones I like and get more. Picked up the WATP DVD, 2 and 4 mile I think? And a "Yoga for the rest of us" DVD. I miss my old yoga and pilates classes, the flexibility I use to have. Thankfully, Matt also misses his, so he's SO on board with the changing our food habits and increasing our excersize deal, otherwise, I'd have to find someone else to call "old man"! So, we're doing the WATP dvd when he gets home and tomorrow is a brand new day!

Welcome, Shari!

I recently joined this group, too! I can't wait to get to ONEderland! I had an eight month plateau which thankfully has been broken! I have another eight pounds and I will be there! I have plenty to lose to get to my goal weight, but ONEderland will be wonderful. I haven't been there since 1980!!!

Hi karrier!

Welcome! Good to have you here! I once was your weight, so if I can do this after being the same weight you are now for quite a few years, YOU CAN DO IT!

For me there is something magical about NOT seeing the 2 in front of my weight! I REALLY look forward to being 199! The plateau I was on really bummed me out, but the good news is that I was at least not GAINUNG WEIGHT!

Robin got me on FitDay, and it is really great because it shows you how you are doing along the day as far as exercise, calories burned and nutrition. It is free, and it helped me break this stupid plateau (along with my Snow shoveling workouts this past week!)

Let's see, you are in summer where you are, right? My son and his fiancee visited your beautiful country several years ago. They rented a car and went everywhere for a whole month. It is one of their best trips ever!

Good luck with your weight loss!

Here's the address for FitDay if you would like to check it out!
