Going bonkers, but wanted to say Hi to my buddies.

Trying to get all your work done to be off a week is crazy. It won't happen.

Just one reply:

Babygrant, I had headaches so bad I thought I had an anurysism (sp) (5 years ago). I started SB and lost 105 lbs and have not had a headache since (other than when I have too much wine). It really makes a difference. Glad to have you with us.

Sorry I can't make repllies, know I am thinking of you all.

Sorry I've been MIA a few days. Was really busy then got sick with sore throat, sinus infection & laryngitis, bronchitis. Feeling really bad. But I did manage to get all my gifts wrapped. Now if I can get to the end of the knitting. Still have one more hat & scarf set to complete with the Fun Fur. All the grand daughters got a set. Hoping to start my baking Saturday.

I've barely skimmed through the posts so I'm afraid I can't reply much but here's a few.

Country, welcome back! Great to see ya.
Babygrant, Welcome! Glad you've joined us.
BOB, sorry to hear you're sick.
Missy, great to hear all is going well. Praying that it will continue.
Monet, you sound really busy. Hope you're feeling better too.
Solly, Techwife, Heart, Talitha, Fluff, Thin, Toni!

Well, tomorrow is our last day of school. We're going till the last minute, but I have all the presents wrapped and ready to go. We do not go back till Jan 9! The teachers have a workday on Monday the 8th, but I do not have any meetings scheduled for that day! Yea!

I updated my signature tonight. I am going to spend the next few days recommiting myself to being healthier and thinking of ways that I can succeed in the new year. I need to come up with some new veggie ideas and cut out more carbs. I am a fan of quiche, salads and casseroles to get in my veggies, so I am looking into those sort of things. When I come up with my new goals and outlooks, I'll post them!! I am getting a couple of outfits for Christmas that will be good for walking or other exercise and I asked for a mp3 or other music player for Christmas. So, I just need to formulate a new plan that will work for me and that I can be serious about. Anyone care to join me in a couple of days of reflection and planning??

Howdy, my friends!!!!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Things, as usual, are very hectic and busy...but I wouldnt' want it any other way. The kids are out of school now until Jan. 3rd. We are going to be baking cookies today. It is cold here and perfect weather for baking. I have all my shopping done, and will do most of my wrapping tonite. We will go to church on Christmas Eve (in the morning), and then come home for lunch, and then we are going to see Charlotte's Web at the theatre. We then open all gifts under the tree that evening, so Santa has room to leave all the toys and fruits/nuts.

I get to the gym as often as I can (goal is 4 times a week)...reality is more like 2-3. BUT, I have managed to stay between 118-120#, and keep my body fat at 19-20%. My eating has been pretty good, considering this time of year. It will get better after the first. The clementine oranges are sooo good this time of year; I like to keep those on hand.

I am going to be entering the last year of my 30's in February. Hard to believe I'll be seeing those 40's soon!

My sister has been eating good, and joined a gym, and has lost 30#'s in the past 5 months. She is really dedicated to making it work this time, and doing it right. I'm really proud of her. I've been working out with her when I can and teaching her how to use the equipment at her gym.

My youngest (Delaney) is as stubborn as they come, and is constantly challenging me. I question my parenting abilities daily when it comes to her. Am I being too hard on her? Am I not being hard enough on her? Do I spank her....do I not spank her? She will carry out the action regardless of the penalty, and argues for the sake of argument (she's only 4). My oldest (8 yrs old) was never that way. I could shoot her a look, and she'd knock off what she was doing. Ah yie yie....I don't know what I'll do when she hits her teenage years.

I have been lurking off and on for as long as I've been away, but can't remember everything, but do have a few comments:

Monet: Thanks for all you do to keep this board up and running; you are the best. I hope you enjoy this Christmas with that precious grandson of yours, and the rest of your family.

Country: I had no idea you were in an accident. Thank God you didn't sustain any worse injuries. Enjoy your family and your grandbaby this Christmas!

Heart: This coming year is the year for you to hit your goal weight!! You are so close, and when you commit yourself you do so well!

FRUIT: I think you are the main reason I pulled myself out of hiding. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am so happy for you and will include you in my daily prayers for the duration of your pregnancy. God is good! If he brings you to it, he'll get you through it.

Talitha: I'm sure adding a third child to the clan has changed many things. Are you hanging in? Are you finding any time for you??

Well, I guess I better go run; the kids want to make their cookies.

Much Love to you all over this Holiday Season.

Good morning.

I sure hope next year is less busy.

We will be getting out of here early today so I am under the gun. I just want to get on here and wish all of my SB buddies and dearest friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I will miss you al next week. My computer at home is not hooked up, so it willbe Jan before I can get back here. Hope Santa is good to everyone. I'm sure we all will start the new year with a new resolve. I can't wait until Tuesday so I don't have to eat any more junk and I can get back to the gym.

Love and Merry Christmas

Just popping in to say howdy. Things have been pretty busy the last couple of days. Yesterday we helped mom decorate cookies...less than half a cookie and maybe a teaspoon of frosting I feel pretty good about not eating more. I made ice cream cone cup cakes for Jesus' birthday and didn't endulge so yeah me...LOL!

((Everybody)) I hope ya'll are having a GREAT friday. I'll try to sneak on later time permitting. We are on vacation this week and I hope to spend some quality time with my hubby.

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Just checking in to say hi

All the gifts are finally done & just 2 more to wrap. Finished my knitting at 1am this morning. Tried to think of everything I needed for each thing I'm baking/cooking but there always seems to be 1 or 2 items missing. Caught you all later.

Oh my gosh I feel so bad for not getting on here sooner. Seems as if the days are just flying by. All at once I look and a couple more have gone by. I'm listening to my Celine Christmas CD as I type. Its so beautiful. My eating still isn't good. But not horrible. Can't wait to go to my sister's for Christmas dinner. Her whole family is going to be there so it will be fun. Sure am hopeing I'll get back on board after the holidays. Well everyone hope your Christmas is wonderful. Peace!!!!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!

I can't sleep!!

I've still got to go to the mall when they open...not looking forward to that at all! I did go to KMART and found Ethan's DUMP TRUCK...walked right in there, picked it up, walked over to the checkout (for tv's) and out the door I went. The front looked like a war zone...people lined up every which way....but I did good!!!

Got my ham and my green beans...I'm set...I have eveything else that I'm going to fix.

Still have to wrap everything and they are big boxes...hope I have enough paper!

I'm off to fix my coffee...

Almost done with my baking. GS coming to spend the night. Have 3 DD & their families, 3 sisters, 2 brothers & their families coming tomorrow. Last year we were over 50 of us. We do the Wright Family game with a tin of homemade goodies after lunch. I know I will eat what I want tomorrow but then it will be back on plan.

Merry Christmas to ALL!!
