Just a fly by. The snow wasn't in our neck of the woods...BUT THE COLD WAS!! It was in the 30's this morning. BRRRRR!!

I was at the mall all day buying some clothes for Shelley. I didn't really buy her school clothes this fall because all they have in August is T-shirts and camis. So, I like ot wait till the sweaters come out. I got ehr some really nice things and had them all hanging on hangers in outfits all over room and told her, "YOu have some clothes to put away...RIGHT NOW!" She thought it was laundry. Boy, was she surprised! I also went to Borders to look for a basic sewing book to show me how to sew. I know how to do curtains and things with straight lines, but I really want to make some clothes. So, for the first time ever, I got a book, bought a latte and sat lookign at books in Borders!! It was SO nice. I must have been there for an hour! I also bought Shelley a self-help book on how to deal with mean girls and clicks in school. She's been having problems lately with fitting in.

Okay...I have ot go crank up the heat and fold some laundry...will be back later!!

THIN...is your question about getting to Chatsworth? If so, you can do it.
Like Monet says...it's not that far. Take I-75 to either HWY 411 NO and that goes straight into Chatsworth. OR...you can stay on I-75 to DALTON and take HWY 76 and that will go over to Chatsworth.

Was that your question?

Thanks Bob! But the question is "will they let Rachel try out early, or make her stay for her scheduled time?" Surely if we go in the morning, they will not make us wait for HOURS!

Then I would be the first one there to be accounted for. That might help the situation...that would give you time to tell them your travel problem.
Sometimes there are schedule blocks for the different schools participating.
Do you know if this is the case?

Evening, everyone. I feel chilled to the bone. My bg is a bit low, but not enough to account for it. Hmmm...

I fixed dinner, but a few members of the family never came to the table.

Dinner was beef and veggie soup made with leftover roast beef. It turned out pretty tasty. I made whole wheat mayonaise muffins to go with it.

I brought home three pots from the glaze kiln and will try and post pictures as soon as I get some. Too tired to do it tonight. Tom is making us some Sleepytime Extra tea then I am going to bed. I may crawl in it with a few Ceramics Monthly magazines...

Good night!

Hey everyone! Tom and I went to Whole Foods for breakfast again. It is awesome! I got scrambled eggs, some bacon, and just a dab of grits. We got four shots of espresso each, so I feel nice and bouncy right now!

I got out and took a few photos of my pots. Here are two pictures, one of the weed bottle, and one of a cream pitcher. The bottle is small, and the pitcher is about 6 inches tall. Its quite exciting to open up a glaze kiln...you never know what you will get!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend! BOB: any word on that baby?

Good gravy! Where IS everyone? The board has been awfully slow this week. I am adjusting to my new med - but not too well. I have felt sick and cold all day. I did not get much done because of it.

I need to leave for church in a bit, but first I must think of something for Tom to eat. He went to Treeclimbers and will meet me at church, so will be hungry.

Not much else is going on... I am ready to wash the walls in the bathroom with TSP, then Tom will be able to put on mud and sand them. I still don't know what color I am going to paint them. Any ideas of what will go with brown flecked and yellowish cream time?
