Monet--Are you OK? I'm worried.

I started the board this week but just copied and pasted and it came through without any of the colors. I don't know why.

OK, Monet. I'm really concerned! Are you OK?

I have started my walking again and got in 2 miles last night with my DH. Weight this week is the same as last week. However, I have really been concentrating on not eating too much and stopping when I am satisfied. I have come to realize that I am a food addict and have to really concentrate on not eating too much.

Hope everyone else has a great day.

Good morning. I'm getting so bummed. My sister leaves tomorrow. I've had bouts of contractions all weekend and they keep stalling out. I woke up at 2am this morning an dcouldn't sleep through them. Then by 8 there was nothing...

FAmily reunion stuff today and I'm eating whatever cause I jsut don't care at this point.

Gator- I'm sure something just came up. I'll give Monet a call and see if she's ok. It is a holiday, and you know how that can be.

Good morning! First, GATOR, THANK YOU! I overslept this morning, and woke to my neighbor ringing my doorbell to go walk at 7:30. We were going to walk to a local bakery/cafe for breakfast. We got there, 3/4 of a mile at least away, and they were CLOSED! We walked back and I made her breakfast here. She just left. I was concerned that I did not get the board started and was hoping no one was up and looking for it yet....so I apologize for not getting it going like I was supposed to. I stayed up WAY too late last night. I definitely see a nap in my future!

It is MMM and since my morning was crazy, I did not weigh before I ate. I will check it tomorrow morning.

I need to go get my ducks in a row and will be back in a bit...

Whew! I"m SO glad to see you, Monet. With all the new meds and stuff that you have, I was just a little bit worried. Thanks for adding the color. As moderator, can you go in and change it to be like it usually is? If so, go ahead!! And have fun this weekend, but keep that partyin' under control!! LOL

Got my 2 mile walk in. In fact just got back. It's a bit muggy out there. Now I have to get ready to go lift weights. See y'all later.

Talitha: You STILL have that bun in the oven? I guess I didn't win the prize on guessing...that was about a week ago.

Monet: Glad to see you're just having a hectic monday morning.

Gator: Thanks for getting us started for the week.

Well, I had to leave early this morning. Shelley had a big sleepover birthday party to go to last night and she called me at 5:30 AM to tell me she was having allergy problems. They went swimming at the local pool and she had a reaction to heavy amounts of chlorine and ends up really stuffed up and puffy. So, Derek had to go to the car rental place in Watertown at 7:30 and with the friggen price of gas this weekend, I didn't want to go to Clayton to get Shelley, then come home, then to go Watertown, when Clayton is sort of on the way and a good ways away from here. So, I made her take her allergy medicine with her, knowing she was going swimming, but she said it wasn't working. So, I also didn't want her waking up the mom in the house so, I ended up getting her at 8:30ish and she was fine because the allergy medicine had kicked in. I know it's not her fault...but she really has the worst timing when she's sick. Earlier this week, I was in Watertown and jsut getting to Penney's to buy Derek some clothes for his meetings this week...I had dropped off Shelley at band practice and I had just enough time to get what I needed before I came home and got her from practice and then it would be dinner time and a LOT of miles driving and...have I complained about the price of GAS!!...so, I jsut get to Penney's when Shelley called me and said that her period had made one last burst before ending for the month and that she had it all over. Poor thing....I really felt sorry for her, but what was I to do? Derek was leaving the next day for NJ and I wouldn't have time to go to Penney's again...it was my game plan to take her to practice, buy my stuff and go back to get her on my way home. So, I had to get my mom to go over and get her (she lives across the street) Thing is, is that I never, ever go anywhere except grocery shopping or to take Shelley to her girlfriends house or to band practice. It's like, whenever I have someplace else to go, she miraculously gets sick or needs me to drop everything. And I know it's not her fault, but every once in a while, I'd just like to have the right to just say, "AAAAUUUUUGGGHHHH!!!" and stomp my feet without having to feel guilt or uncompassionate. I mean, on top of Shelley feeling bad this morning, I have my DH yelling and saying that he canNOT be late to get his rental car on his first day of work and that she is just going to HAVE TO WAIT. And then I have Kyle, "I have to pee!!!" All this with NO coffee. So, now Derek's at work, Shelley is sleeping on the couch and Kyle is watchign TV and my fingers are tingling with having been here on my soapbox. This also happened when it was my 39th birthday. I always, always lapse into a deep depression on my birthday, no matter how much green tea I drink. So, to top it off, I'm 39 and my husband says, "Why don't you take my credit card to the mall and buy yourself some nice clothes." So, I took Kyle in the stroller and got some things at Old Navy and REALLY got depressed when it occured to me that I had grown out of size 16 and not only was I knocking on 40's door, but I was now the fattest I'd ever been in my life. So, I just decided to go sit in Border's and look at diet books with some coffee when the cell phone rang and it was the school nurse telling me that Shelley needed a pamprin and the bottle I'd given her was empty. Timing... So, I drop everything, drive the 30+ miles home and she's not in the nurse's office because, "She felt better, so I sent her back to class...you can go home now." So, I said, "Get her down here...she's taking a Pamprin whether she needs it or not!" Timing!! These things NEVER happen when I'm home folding laundry...which is no less than about 95% of the time!!

Okay...I'm done spouting. I have to go stick some firecrackers up Shelley's nose to get the stuffedness out. It's fourth of July, after all tomorrow!! Poor little chicka...I really do feel for her...it's just the timing always sucks!! She must think I'm so mean. I really do love her...

Okay...so...MMM ain't happening today. I'm on SB hiatus until the potato salads are done this weekend. I had a croissant thingy at Burger King for breakfast. It was disgusting, to say the least. Foul, in fact. I hate breakfast sandwiches, but it was either that or french toast sticks.

Just popping in. Hope everyone is enjoying there week end. My DH is doing some honey do jobs. He'll be glad to go back to work I bet... LOL My neice is giving me her brand new sears treadmill is we can fit it in the back of the car next week end. She lives about 2 1/2 hours from here. We're going up to her house and spend my birthday week end with them the 7th 8th and come home the 9th. Keep positive thoughts for me that some way we can fit it in the back of our little car. I've got an old one and I mean real old. Guess I'll go do some wash now. I've got to run to the store in a bit... Hope the post office is open here. Have a happy day.

I just got in from the pet store. I had to go buy a replacement fish for the algae eater I killed last week. I got two more, so now I have three. Frick and Frack won't do for names with three...I am going to have to come up with another name now. (not that I can keep them straight! I can only remember my first two tetras, Bert and Ernie)

Of course, the guy at the pet store sold me more stuff. So I spent $18 instead of under $2 for a fish. sheesh.

I am seriously dragging today. I stayed up WAY too late playing that game. At least I got my walking in today. I would love to go jump in the pool, but Tom dragged his feet about shocking it, and right now, its green. I HATE when he will not listen to me and I am right! I also HATE getting into a green pool. It is just algae growth, but even so....

I will check in later.

Monet: Would Snap, Crackle and Pop do? Mo, Larry and Curly? I used to have a Beta that I named Alpha. I've had fish named Spot, Tangerine, Marmalade, Spike (a male swordtail). We had an algae eater that got so big, Kyle named him Sea Monster. He lived in our fake coral thingy and Kyle called it his castle. I killed everything in it a year or so ago. I had it all clean and wonderful...Sea MOnster was so happy...he usually had to swim around with goggles on, with plenty of algae to eat. That's why he got so big, I think...then I got a couple new fish from a pet store and within a week, everything...even Sea Monster (he was in the tank from about 1999 and even survived our move from Rochester in an inch of water in the bottom of the tank!) So, our tank has sat unoccupied in the corner of the dining room ever since.

TECH: Sounds like you brought some kind of a bug home with the new fish. I hope that doesn't happen with my tank. The guy at the pet shop is very knowledgable and seems to have very healthy fish...so ... You really ought to get Kyle a Raphael cat fish. They are really neat looking. They are very shy and tend to hide under rocks and coral, but when you see them, wow! I like Snap Crackle and Pop...I already have a Moe, Curly and Larry...except perhaps it is Shep and not Curly because one died and was replaced. The weird thing got itself trapped under some rocks! ??? I long for a larger tank...but can't afford it.

Hello Sugar Busters.....

Sorry but this will be a quicky.......I have been out staining the deck, and I am hot, tired and cabby......don't know why I am crabby.....probably just from being too hot. Had two of the gals from Curves come over this morning and we got our 4 mile in. Tomorrow we are meeting at Bear Lake and we are going to do the walk around it. Hope there are no biting bugs.....cause they always like me best. I have been bitten soooo many times already this year. I had a spider bite that was almost gone, and then came back in full force with little water like blisters!! It was scary and also very ugly........I am sorry this is so short and no replies, I will try and get here this evening when it is cooler and I am in a better mood!! See you soon.

Just checking in. Got over 14000 steps today. Had lunch with my DH after working out and we walked around the lake downtown. So can take it easy tonight.
