AFTERNOON EVERY BUDDY!!

I'm feeling poorly too!! I've actually been trying to throw up for about three days now and FINALLY, I was able too! Kate is convinced that I have an ulcer (My DF had to have 75% of his stomach removed in his 30's) When I was finally able to throw up, it was nothing but BILE!!! I felt better for a brief time, but now, I'm back to feeling poorly! I've gota slight temperature 99.1 and I guess that could be hormonal...

Kate wants fried chicken for supper...the thought of that makes me ill, but I'll still have to cook! Thought I might make her some smashed potatoes and brussel sprouts with a few biscuits to go along with the chicken.

I've got some laundry in soaking and I believe I'll fix some dry toast to sop up the acid in my stomach.

I'll try to check in later...MONET...HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER!!

Monet: Thanks for hearing my call from the pantry. I've modified it a bit to include canned black beans. Its simmering as we speak...I've never actually had black bean soup..it just sounds so good. It looks and smells good so far...I'll let you all know how it turns out and post my modified recipe...

I just got in from the family's fourth annual Cherry Blossom Festival. The kids were bummed that Tom would not go along, but he said he was just feeling too poorly to go. I went, and Justin wrapped a blanket around me to keep me warm... It was great! Publix makes a brown rice sushi! It was awesome. We had California rolls, cucumber rolls, avocado rolls, dragon rolls, and temaki rolls. There were a few ebi and salmon too. I forgot to take something to drink. If we go again next week, like everyone is talking about doing, I will take a thermos of green tea with brown rice. I don't drink Sake like the rest of the crew did...

It looks beautiful out, but it is cold and there is a brisk breeze. I am ready for some spring weather. I hope spring lasts a long time, since I am not crazy about the hot days of summer.

TECH: I am glad the black bean soup turned out well!

TONI: Where have you been?? We miss you when you disappear like that.

BOB: Go to Publix and get Kate a fried chicken breast! Their fried chicken is good and cheap, and then you would not have to cook it. I hope you feel better soon.

I had forgotten about that black bean recipe Toni Post it and see if it jars my memory.

MONET...I'm feeling better, but the suggestion came too late. I fixed the chicken legs, had four little red jack potatoes that I threw in the pressure cooker, and fixed some brussel sprouts. I've already fixed my lunch for tomorrow and am getting ready to climb up in the bed for the evening.

I'll see y'all tomorrow!
