I'm actually going to be buying my first pair of capris this summer...I'm thinking I won't be as self conscious! Sorry I can't be of any help...

My jeans, pants and capri sizes all differ from pant to pant. Clothes just arent made consistently and precisely so i think sizes are definitely bound to be different

Personally...and I'm sure this is just me...but I feel that capris are unflattering an anyone that is under seven feet tall. I think they're a cute summer look, but not at all flattering to anybody's figure. On me, they tend to chop my legs in half and make me look even shorter than I already am. And since most capris I've come across have elastic wastebands, now that I'm heavier than when I was young, I think they make my butt look really, really worse than it already is. My butt is wider at the top than it is at the bottom and, on me, elastic wasteband equals balloon butt.

So, it doesn't matter what size the capris run in for me...they won't be in my wardrobe. I'd rather wear a skirt, jeans or shorts. Just my opinion. Good luck finding the right fit for you!!

I am a creature of comfort...and fashion has no hold on me. I love capris! I guess because I feel self concious in shorts out in public.... Capris are comfortable, and lighter than long pants.

I love capris! I'm a short 5'3" so I can buy jeans capris and have them come down to my ankles most times--they're the perfect fit! Much better than buying "petite" or "short" length regular jeans and have them bunch up around the ankles because they're too long.

Okay...Okay!! I admit it...capris are very cute and look nice. But I think that if you're aiming to look longer and leaner, they maybe aren't the way to go. Or maybe I watch What Not to Wear too much. Its not like when I see other people in capris I'm thinking they look squatty...it's all ME! I think I look squatty in them because I've seen casual pictures of me in capris and thought...why didn't anyone tell me I look three feet tall in those? And my fanny!! Whoa nelly!! That elastic band made it look like it needed a zip code!!

Just like a woman to see one bad angle of themselves to get all "moritoriumish" on one style of clothes.

But they look great on everyone else!!

I love Capri's because they cover my thighs but still let my legs breath in warm weather. I wear the same size in capri's and jeans.
