WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? - It just made so much sense to me, sounded healthy and it was something I hadn't already tried. Boy, did I finally do something right!

ANYTHING ELSE? - I use to be an emotional eater, since starting SB, eating emotionally hasn't happened once. I love this WOE and believe it's the best thing for me. I plan on this being a life change, not something I will stop doing after I reach goal. I thank my lucky stars to have all of you for your friendship and support!

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? -Needed to loose & had heard about SB from a friend. Had battle with blood clots in both legs, high cholesterol & triglycerides. Decided to try SB & even though my cholesterol is still high, barely within the upper limits of normal, my triglycerides came down from over 400 down to 75.

ANYTHING ELSE? -have gained back 15 of my 38lbs I had lost & need some help & support to get back on it.

Had gall bladder surgery 2 months ago- Surgeon saw Cirrhosis of Liver which has been caused by Diabetes and Overweight.(Only 8% of diabetics get this - lucky me) Diabetic & Liver Dr both suggested S/B. If I don't lose the weight - I will be facing a liver transplant in 5 yrs.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SUGAR BUSTERS? - my doctor (Internal Medicine doc) suggested it to assist with high cholesterol and gastric reflux problems.

ANYTHING ELSE? I trained for and ran a marathon in January 2000 without really losing weight, probably no more than 10 pounds. My diet consisted of high GI carbs, as I thought I needed them, but not running enough to offset my diet. I didn't run or exercise much after the marathon and continued with poor eating habits, so I gained quite a bit of weight.

This site is an ENORMOUS amount of support for me. My husband even comments that I am in a better mood when I have visited here. He is right. It is good to know that others understand what I am experiencing and the support they can offer is very, very valuable.
