Hello to all of you!

I sure do miss checking in everyday! But, there is absolutely NO TIME!!!! Then I look in today and there are 5 pages!! I wish I had time to post and respond to all of you but I'm soooo tired! I see that we've got some new people on the board - WELCOME! You'll love it here! I'll definately be back on board after my surgery Tuesday. After all, I won't be able to talk for 2 weeks - so playing on the computer will take up the majority of my time. You know what is sad? I'll be spending much of my time starting to get things ready for the next school year! That sucks! Finish one and within the next week - start preparing for the next year! Those people that say how lucky teachers are because they get the summers off are so off base!!!

I'm trying to clean my house - taking a room a night so that I won't be worried about that after the surgery. I hate to clean house but when I'm confined to bedrest - for some odd reason - I want to clean!! Go figure! So, I'm trying to get it out of the way bit by bit so that I can enjoy my weekend!

Only 2 more days with the kids - yippee! Then we go back for a records day on Monday. Tuesday I go under the knife!

I went to my OBGYN today for my 4th depo lupron shot. Since I've started my shots I've lost 37 pounds - which I'm very excited about. He was very proud of me too. He was going to stop the shots today if I wanted to try to get pregnant again now. But, I told him that I wanted to at least be under 200 pounds before he sent me to the specialist again. Since this is my last official "TRY" I want everything to be as close to normal as possible. If I were to have yet another miscarriage, and I hadn't taken off the weight as I planned to do, I would always wonder WHAT IF....I had lost, etc. Then I would want to try again! My body just can't take anymore pain. I've been through enough. So, I'm going to make every attempt at losing as much as possible before I go back to the specialist! So, I've got some more time to reach below the 200 mark! Wish me luck!

Well, for just a pop in, I sure can talk alot! Wait until I can't talk at all - I'll be typing up a storm!! HAHA!

Well, have a great one! I miss all of you and I'll try to come back before my surgery!!

Default Hello!

Howdy ya'll! Just sneaking in a little board time. We are having a great vacation so far. We actually went and shot our bows today. We did the dart system. Which is a video bow shoot and it was sooooo fun. We picked up a few goodies for our bows and now it is so much easier for me to hold my arrow in place. This deer season ought to be pretty fun. It will be my first.

Eating has been going pretty good. Exercising has been the bare minimum...only worked out twice in three days...no walking. Some of the extra weight came off so I am back down to 153.

Sorry I don't have time to respond to all the post but I am reading. You all don't know what a true blessing and encouragment you are. ((hugzz))

Love,
Crystle

Hi everyone!

I'm back. Things are starting to look up and the weight is finally beginning to move down. I am now at an all time low of 269. So my next goal is 259.

Welcome newbies.

BOB: I watched Spy Games and Oceans Eleven. I liked Oceans Eleven but I thought that Spy Games was a much better movie. Hope that you enjoy it.

Well, I'm so tired. Sorry that I couldn't respond to everyone. Congratulations to all you "losers". For those of you that did not lose, just hang in there and it will happen.

Talking First Day of SB

Hi Everyone!

It's late here, so just a quick note to let everyone know I'm still alive. We didn't get started with the SB WOE last week like planned. But, I did start today. Unfortunately, Jim and the kids were digging in the pantry fairly quickly for junk food.

I did stay OP today. It was fairly easy. I did make myself eat an orange. Believe it or not, I've never even tried one before. I'm going to reserve judgement until I've tried it a few more times.

We did have some really bad weather here in Central Texas, but everyone's fine.

Our buyer's inspector showed up today. He found 4 nitpicky things and that's it. My husband is breathing a huge sigh of relief.

I'm going to post my first day's meals to see what everyone thinks. Too much? Too little? Not enough of something?

Breakfast: (ate at IHop because Inspector threw us out)
An omlete with ham, bacon, green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. 100% apple juice

Snack:
1/2 a small orange

Lunch:
A grilled cheese sandwich made with SGWW bread plus a side salad.

Snack:

A handful of peanuts

Dinner:

Homemade Chicken A'la King made with WW flour instead of white. Two pieces of SGWW bread.

I did drink at least 6 glasses of water. And I took a walk around the block with my son.

That's it.

See everyone tomorrow.

Default Thursday....already?

Just wanted to pop in and say hi! We finished painting the bathroom, and I have been working on the kitchen. I got the walls primed for the wall paper, and should get that done today. If I run out of time, I will wait to paint it, and just leave it white for the wedding.

Tonight I am hoping to get out to Dillards at the Mall of Georgia and see if I can find a dress for the wedding. I hope and pray I can find one easily.

Once I get that done, the weekend will be dedicated to cleaning house..thoroughly.

No word on the ham situation..so I will probably just leave it as it is. If my son in law to be is mad, he really can't blame me!

Talked to my sister last night. She sounded much more upbeat. Her surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, and they are hoping she will only need a lumpectomy and not a full masectomy.

Only nine days left...

Hi everyone.

What do you do when you want to eat something in the evening....like the DH and kids are eating donuts or ice cream??
I ate an apple, is that about as good as it gets??
The night before I wasn't even hungry after dinner. I am hoping my cravings for sweet stuff in the evening subside.

Is there a good legal ketchup out there? I'm not a big ketchup eater....but I was thinking about how to make baked beans and sloppy joes....any one have a recipe??

I think I am doing pretty good!! I am trying not to have any bread or pasta at dinner.

I don't have a scale...I figure I will be able to use my clothes to tell my loss. Guess I should go buy one.

Default Thursday

Greetings fellow SB'ers!!

I am in a good mood this morning..which is always a bonus! I have a few things on my plate..laundry mountain to fold and put away, bake 5 dozen cookies for my son's graduation tomorrow night, general clean up and of course caring for my kids and the ones I babysit. Now that I type that I wonder why I am in such a good mood afterall!

Oh..our foreman who tore all the ligaments in his knee...he said he couldn't handle just sitting there and barking orders. He is a do'er and not a watcher...we are going to do put the siding on the ends of the house this weekend. We have to wait for the front and back because next weekend the windows will go in first. The ends have no windows so that is why we can get those done instead.

JENN-Cherry Blossoms are a candy bar kind of thing. They are a marachino cherry with syrup in a huge chocolate shell with nuts I believe. Lowry puts them out and they always remind me of old men because my Grandpa used to love them...kind of like Peps if you know those...huge peppermint patties. Anyways..that is what they are and this guy loves them. He roofed our house last week and I *paid* him with 2 Cherry Blossoms...now that was a great deal if you ask me!!

MONET- You must be going nuts!! Did you get your dress and what does it look like? So many preparations and so little time but you strike me as someone who has it all under control.

HomeSchoolingMama- I would watch the starchy carbs. You said you had a Grilled Cheese for lunch, then the chicken made with SGWW and the 2 slices of bread...I would count that as 5 starchy carbs if you used 2 slices of bread for your grilled cheese. It should be only 2-3 starchy carbs a day and perhaps 1-2 if you are really trying to lose. I find for myself, that if I limit my starchy carbs I tend to lose more, but that is just me! Otherwise, I thought it looked good.

SHEANN-Anymore news about your son?

COUNTRYMOM- My husband is into Archery now that we moved to NB. He has a new bow that his friend keeps adding things onto each visit. He wants to try deer hunting when he gets more proficient with his bow.

FRUIT- Good to hear from you, I was wondering where you went off to! Sounds like a plan for the doctor, I hope you get under 200 soon..keep plugging along!

That is it for me, gotta get some work done. Have a great day!

Default Howdy :D

So how is everyone this morning? Rainy and dreary here... YUCK!!
Tuesday morning after I posted... I went to bed at 2pm and slept until 6am Wednesday morning!!! How's that for a rest!

Walked 3 miles last night... tried to jog a little of it, but WHOA I'm not ready for that yet!! Didn't drink nearly enough water this past few days, going to try to make it up the rest of the week. I work tonight and tomorrow with someone else, so I don't have to worry about bathroom breaks, I can drink all I want!

DEB - Yeah my dad did GREAT I think!! I was really proud of him. He doesn't act or look 50, he's a blast and I love him dearly. Can you tell at 28 I'm still a Daddy's Girl? I adore him

Jack-K - I have my ears done 7 times, my tongue done once (for now, but getting a second one sometime) and I have my (ahem) nips done... Yeah I know... most people would NEVER suspect that I'd even have the tongue done. I'm a very well educated, well spoken and proper person face to face... I just have this love for body jewelry. I had my belly button done the last time I wore a size 10, but I'm so short waisted, that my jeans ALL hit right at the belly button and it irritated it all the time, so I took it out. Not doing that one anymore.

Fruit - Our kids last day of school is Friday also! Good luck with your surgery next week, I'll send thoughts and prayers your way

Well it seems like every time I start getting caught up $$$ wise, something new happens!! DH and the kids went to get some dinner while I was sleeping Tuesday night and decided to take MY truck.... it broke down on them and I had to have it towed and fixed yesterday My garage door is going to be replaced next Wednesday... and my dog has his vet recheck tomorrow! So... empty that checkbook and start over Friday I guess..LOL!

My stepdad is home and recovering quite well! I think this little stunt of his has convinced him that he needs to CHANGE! This was way too close a call for him and he has realized that he doesn't want to leave this earth yet, so he's setting out to better himself! Too bad it takes these things sometimes, but I'm glad he's doing well Thanks for all the thougts everyone!

I'm off to scramble some eggs for me and my littlest... and gonna drink ONLY water today!!! Probably won't get to walk, it's pouring rain and I go in at 3pm today I'll have to stick with an exercise video!

Have a great Thursday everyone... See ya on the flip side~!

Default Hi everybody!

I'm so mixed up this week becuase of last week-end's holiday, I thought today was WIW! LOL! So here it is anyway: 134, no change on the scale, but the calipers say I've gone down 2% body fat in the last 3 weeks. Yahoo! That's what counts for me.

Homeschoolmomma: (gotta shorten that!) I think your menu looks high in starchy carbs, too. And probably fat, and too low in vegies. Load up on fruit, vegies and protein!

Chris: I used to have 2 teaspoons of natural peanut butter for "dessert" (Crazy Richard's brand from Acme or Genuardi's- you're in Philly area, right?) Or smear it on an apple. Other solution: don't buy the donuts and ice cream. Now if hubby and son want them, they have to go out for ice cream. That way 1) they eat it less often and 2) I don't have to look at it.

Monet: It is time to find a dress!!! Good luck! I hope my daughter elopes like I did, when the time comes. Thinking of your sister, and you.

Sol- You're gonna fly right by us, girl! slow down!

Fruit: You don't sound like someone who's going to take to bedrest real well Personally, I would love it right about now if I was told not to get out of bed for a week! But the no talking part? My family would be thrilled, and how could I control the world that way! Good luck on Tuesday, I'll be thinking about you. Can you eat after the surgery? Not the best way to lose weight, but maybe a quick couple of pounds? You've got good motivation to lose.

Deb- Are you melting down there? Bro and SIL say it's been horrible in Broward. She's now pregnant, tho, and is miserable from day 1.

BOB- Hope you feel better. You didn't miss the Memorial Day sales did you?

Hi to everyone else I missed- Gracious, I hope the house fixing/building continue without further disaster!

Good morning everybody!

I cannot believe that May is almost gone! Jordan leaves in 2 weeks for a 2 week Sea Cadet camp in Norfolk, Virginia. He's flying up there with another cadet from here, so at least he won't be totally alone. He's getting really excited and I'm getting really nervous. He got a call a couple of nights ago from an Air Force recruiter and yesterday a Marine recruiter. I guess it's starting now.

Sol - We miss you!!

Deb - How did the steam buggy work on your floor? I really need to do mine. We didn't seal the grout in the kitchen and it's really starting to look pretty bad. We've got tile everywhere in our house except the bedrooms. I love it.

Tranquil - Just curious, how did you find a personal trainer and what kind of costs are associated with one? I'd like to start using one, but haven't a clue where to start looking.

Glory - WTG on the 2 pounds. Where in Washington are you? That seems like such a beautiful place.

Quiv - Boy you are having a rough time, aren't you girl. I hate when you spend a bunch of money on a vacation and for whatever reason, it doesn't turn out the way you wanted. I really feel for you living in NY right now.

Heartmom - Have fun in Gulf Shores. We were there a couple of years ago and had a great time!

jbug - Your coleslaw salad sounds good. I do a similar thing with cut up broccoli and cauliflower.

Tree - Thanks for the tips. I love smoothies for breakfast too. Sometimes instead of the milk, I'll throw in a little orange juice.

Tranquil - Good going on the bike. 4 miles is better than 0 miles!

BOB - Glad you seem to be on the upswing. I'll have to check out Bandits. How did you like Spy Game? I enjoyed it but then, hmm, Robert Redford, Brad Pitt, what's not to enjoy? For those of you that have a DVD, have you ever tried Netflix? You pay a set fee each month and pick out the rentals you want to see. Depending on your plan, you can have a certain number out at 1 time. Our plan is 5 at a time. They send them to you and you can keep them as long as you want. When you send one back, they send the next one on your list. It's great. They come with little postage paid mailers that you just drop back in the mail. It's pretty slick.

Toni - Are you guys still getting rain? Is the ark ready yet?

Fruit - WTG on the good results at the doctor today. Good luck with your surgery.

Crystle - Enjoy your vacation.

Sheann - Glad to see you back and congrats on the loss.

HSmama - I agree with the too many carbs. That really slows down my weight loss too. I usually do alright if I keep it at 2 per day. Someone else mentioned that they do better when they limit them to breakfast and lunch.

Monet - You're making me tired. Hope you found a dress. Thinking good thoughts for your sister and her surgery.

Chris - There's been a lot of discussion about sugar free treats and this WOE. Frankly, though, they keep me off the bad stuff. A couple of things that have saved me is SF jello and Popsicle brand SF popsicles and fudgsicles. I have always been an after dinner sweet eater and these have saved my life!

Gracious - A few things on your plate.....???

Beth - WTG on the 3 miles. I tried jogging a little too the last time I walked, but it was not a pretty picture. That's great about your dad's 5K time.

Mel - Down another 2%, you're really kicking booty!

Guess I better skedaddle now. Talk to everyone soon.

( Started this post last night, obviously, didn't get it done! )

Evening All

Thought I'd get in a post before prime time TV shows come on in a few.

Not much to report on my end today-as I mentioned earlier in the day, I was cleaning grout, was on the floor for over 3 hours and wasn't able to get about 1/4 of the kitchen done-big kitchen, lots of grout. Not sure when/if I'll ever get the rest done, too time consuming and teadious.

Feeling icky poo today, mid-cycle is just about upon me and I'm feeling not only icky, but bloated as well. Don't you just LOVE being a woman!

SEF, sorry for the trouble you had getting into the chat room, don't understand why you had trouble. Next time, e-mail me or I/M me and I'll try to help

MELF, I'm SURE SEF is not only going to let you take her picture, she's going to give you a "cheesecake pose". Again, have a safe and fun-filled trip.

FROG, hope you get lots of orders, make lots of money and most of all have fun! Have a safe trip and let us know how things went when you return.

GRACIOUS, pardon my stupidity, but you eat cherry blossoms? I thought they were flowers on a tree.

TRANQUIL, not to worry, I'm feeling the same as you! It will pass! As for the scale, I'd stick to the one you started with, but that's just my opinion. I won't weigh on any other scale no matter what-wild horses can't drag me on, I'd be too afraid to find out what it would say!

CHRIS, I have made mac and cheese once, but not big on pasta, so not something I do really. I'd say, as a newbie, try to stay away from the sweets until you've really detoxed from wanting sweets-it could backfire on you. No one likes to go grocery shopping with me either, I read everything and take forever! Okay, I take that back, BOB likes going shopping with me

Good Thursday Morning!

Figured I continue where I left off last night and fill in this morning's dismal happenings.

Woke up and wanted to walk but kept putting it off til I didn't feel like going and when I finally decided to get my arse out there, it started to rain! Serves me right, could of easily gone earlier. Didn't go yesterday as I thought I'd be able to go to the spinning class-well, not a chance, plus, my butt/upper thigh muscles were killing me, still sore today-can't imagine them feeling like this just from grout cleaning!

I am truly bloated and will not be posting any weights! It's day 14 of my cycle-need I say more????

Lauren's dance is tonight, so this afternoon is going to be fille with running around, esp. after school. I hope the dress comes out good. Hope her hair comes out good as well-going to a new place for her and hoping they know what they are doing, or at least what she wants them to do.

Oh yes, the rain is coming down!!!!!!!!!!!

JACKK-personally, for breakfast I usually have some high fiber fruit along with maybe an omelet made from Eggbeaters, cottage cheese, Fiber One, ww English muffin, sometimes a milkshake-there's lots of ideas! Here's some ideas I had in my files:

BREAKFAST IDEAS

High Fiber Cereals with milk-Uncle Sams, Fiber One
Eggs or Egg Substitute-make a great omelet, hard boiled or scrambled
WW Pancakes or Waffles-FEARN has a great SB LEGAL MIX!
Cottage Cheese-add a little sweetener and cinammon
Plain Yogurt-can be topped with some fresh/frozen berries
Whole Grain Toast-top with a little butter if desired
No Sugar Bacon- Gwaltney's is a great brand to try if you can find it!
Hard Cheese-melted on your toast or in your eggs
Fruit-as your meal, or 1/2 hr before, or 2 hours after
Muffins-lots of recipes to make some SB legal muffins out there
Oatmeal
Breakfast Burrito
Kashi for Breakfast
French Toast (make with egg and Ezekeil or other SB legal bread)

Hey, where's the cruise you're taking in Nov. going out of??

TONI, CONGRATS!!! WOW, 4lbs is awesome-I think I gained what you've lost, and then some! Trader Joes, ahhhh, wouldn't I give my eye-teeth to live near one. It's a specialty grocer that has many unusual items at the most fabulous prices you could ever imagine. If you are ever in a town that has one, you MUST stop (and have a cooler), you WON'T be disappointed, I promise!

NANCE, how far is that area from where you are now? Sounds far! Hope you lose that major dookie, and soon, otherwise Floyd the Farting Dog is going to have some major competition in the house! LOL!

ZANNE, SD had hand, foot and mouth-'splain that one, would you? I'd be happy to have just mouth! It's funny, when I buy ice cream that's not SB LEGAL for the kids, it doesn't bother me, but if I buy some that's okay, like Breyers vanilla, it seems to call my name from the freezer. I'm not buying ANY more for the next month and hopefully, it will forget my name all-together! Sounds like you gave yourself a good talking to and that you'll be right back on track along with a positive attitude.

JENN, it sounds like you are going to have a nice wedding without all the aggravation and stress you had before. I'm sure it's going to turn out wonderful and you'll be happy you made this decision. I think you made a wise choice in the B&D grill over the Foreman, I saw them and liked that you could remove the grill-hate my GF because you can't on that one. Outback bread-well, not really, but you could do worse. Down here, their bread is made by the Flowers bakery and I know they don't use anything worthwhile. If you have a tiny piece, it's not going to kill you, but just keep in mind it's more than likely NOT SB LEGAL.

THUNDER, I hope once the baby arrives you'll post a picture of her up on the board. Do you know if the hospital has one of the boards where they post the picture of the baby, like my sisters?

TRISH, do you know if St. Pats has upped it's price on the agave. Don't know if you saw my post the other day, but the HFS I get mine from went up $2 on each bottle. Luckily, I have 56+ bottles still here at home and if I don't do much baking I'm bound to have enough for the next couple years. Using the steam buggy was a pain-it only works about 10 minutes before you have to put more water in it (waiting 5 minutes between to let it cool down doesn't help either). It works okay, but I sure wouldn't buy one unless I found it cheap at a garage sale. My sister got it marked down for 30+ at Target. It didn't work on the mold in the kids bathroom, thank goodness for tilex! Would I say to buy one-not really. I sealed my grout in the family room, but not in the kitche, big mistake-but too much grout to have done myself at that time. At least I didnt' get white grout, but beige isn't much better.

GLORY, CONGRATS, you are definitely headed back in the right direction! Keep up the great work. Loves to sew, loves to cut the grass-a woman of many talents I see

QUIV, seems like you have a lot of "thought provoking" things going on at this time. I'm sure you'll find a good job soon. Don't let the terrorist things stress you out-it's exactly what they want you to do-don't let terrorist and their actions consume you-I'm a firm believer that whatever is meant to be will be and there's a reason for everything, though I don't always understand the reasons

HEART, enjoy your trip! I'm sure BOOGIE will have a good time playing in the sand-take lots of pictures!!! Hey, I will never own a bathing suit, much less even think of buying one.

JBUG, oooh, you were on a marathon eating binge I see-oh, I know those all too well. Yes, those starchy carbs can pose a problem when you eat too much 2-3 a day should be the max. What I think happens with many is the portions they have of the starchy carbs, not realizing that you can only have a 1/2 cup of rice, 1oz of cereal-if you don't measure, you can easily consume more-I've been very guilty of that in recent past. Trying to limit mine at this point as well. Yes, I will confess when I've been less than stellar in my eating-didn't have to do this until recently though, I was OP 100% and didn't cheat until I was on SB for 2 years-don't like when I cheat because I go totally out of control and it takes me a while to get back into the swing-instead of sticker shock, I get scale shock!

TREE, your dessert sounds good, though I haven't tried any SF pudding since I started SB, like the jello prepacks though. I always recommend Rissa's site-it's a good one, esp for newbies to take a look at. Protein - beans, cottage cheese, lots of good ideas on the web, I'm sure-hit the Google pages for lots of ideas.

BOB, hope you feel better. Surely Skeeter wishes you stayed home as well. Visit, nope, no visits for me, but sure wish I could-I'd visit anyone with a TJ's nearby!!!

FRUIT, glad to see you checking in. I think you are making a very wise decision to wait to try again, it sure can't hurt and can only help! Hope the surgery goes well-please let us know as soon as you are able how you're doing. {{{HUGS}}} Guess I won't be calling you to chat, will I?

COUNTRY, sounds like you are enjoying your time with DH together. Didn't know you were an archer! I have 2 old bows in my house from when I was really young-wonder if they'd be worth something all these years later. I can't shoot at all, was just something I thought I could do when I was a kid. Will you be shooting game in the season??

SHEANN, glad to see you back! Even happier to hear you've made it to a new low, how wonderful!

MAMA, never tried an orange-I think you must be the first person I've met to say that! Your menu-don't know your current weight, but I can say from looking at your intake it's not enough, too many starchy carbs, not enough veggies, need fiber. Remember, this is not only a WOE but a learning process and as you get more comfortable, you'll learn as well. Just stay strong, you may have some really bad cravings for sugar, may have a headache, this will pass-it's your body detoxing from the sugar and refined crap. Keep asking questions, this is how you'll learn.

MONET, good luck with the dress hunting today-let us know how you make out. Glad to hear sister is feeling better as well.

CHRIS, well, if you want to eat something in the evening, is it just to feel like you are joining them, or that you are truly hungry. Why eat if you aren't hungry? If you just want to join them, grab some celery and in mind think how good it feels to be able to have that kind of control that you don't snatch that donut out of their mouths. NOW, if you want something a little on the sweet side, how about some SF jello? Remember, you NEVER have to eat to feel social-but you do need to eat if you are hungry. There are legal catsups out there, but not sure what's available around you. You could try making some. There's a recipe on the board for baked beans that I basically used my bbq sauce recipe with a modification-it's on the board, but I used agave syrup and not sure if you have that.

BETH, I'd give anything to be able to get in a sleep like that-I truly think I need a power nap right about now anyhow! Nothing wrong being a Daddy's girl-and I bet, you will be running along with Dad before you know it. When I started to jog at first, I couldn't get 10feet without feeling like I was going to die-just do a little every day and add a little when you can-you'll do it, I'm sure!

MEL, she's preg again-not much space between the two kids. Does that mean you'll be coming down when she has the baby??? Glad to hear you're doing well. What's on your agenda this summer? Yes, the rains are bad, actually, just finished raining here.

WOW, finally caught up. Well, the sun is trying to peek out and it seems from what I can see out the window the rains have stopped. I think I will go make an assesment outside to see if I can go and then try to prod my butt out there-don't feel like going but I REALLY need to go-even if I just walk, it's better than nothing.

I'll check in this evening after Lauren goes to her dance if Michael doesn't need the computer. I have some recipes to post, along with lots of pictures.

Oh, I did post my JUNE GOALS on the JUNE GOAL BOARD - I'm vowing only to hop on the scale 6 times next month-pray for me!!!

Toodles

Happy Thursday Gang

The board has been busy today. Not much going on here. Nice day 82. Got my walk in before work today. Got to jog a little. Trying to mix things up a bit.

Tree, Thanks for the tips. Some of your ideas sound good. I might have to try the cream cheese, pudding thing.

Tranquil, Riding 4 miles and walking. Good for you. Determination means wt loss.

Bob, I will call Fresh Market. I have been to the Westport Rd Wal-mart. They don't carry it. The man at the Flowers Bakery told me they don't ship to Lou. Thanks for your help.

Toni, The scale is moving down, come on! LOL

Fruit, Sounds like you have been busy. If you get the urge to clean, come on up to my house. Hope your surgery goes well. Waiting for you to get back on the board regular. Why do you take the Lupron shots? My DD is getting ready to take them for her endometrosis. How have you handled them? I am a little concerned about them.

Country, Glad you are having a nice vacation.Deer hunting? You have to be pretty fit for that.

Sheann, Glad things are getting better for you. WTG on your new loss. How's your son doing?

Mama, The only problem I see with your menu is you had too many carbs. I counted 4, you can only have 3. You might want to throw in a few more veggies and 1 more fruit if you can just to fill you up. Glad you all are ok. I heard about all the weather there. Good luck.

Monet, That is wonderful news about your DS. Keeping her in my prayers. I sincerely hope you can find a dress easily. Girl, you make me nervous.

ChrisB, Estee makes a SF catsup. It's pretty good. Now that I don't eat french fries, I really don't have much need for catsup. Deb posted a baked bean recipe last week. Haven't tried it yet. You could have some SF ice cream at nite, cheese, veggies and dip, peanuts. Keep up the good work.

Gracious, Sounds like your help is invaulable. You have some good workers. Don't eat those cookies!!

Beth, Sounds like you finally got some well deserved rest. Wow! You have alot of piercings. You have had your share of mishaps. It always seems that when one thing breaks it starts a chain. Glad your SD is doing better. Is he going to do SB?

Mel, WOW 2% drop in BF in 3 weeks. That's great.

Trish, It sounds exciting for your son, but I can imagine that you are nervous. I sure would be. You can find a personal trainer at a gym. I called a friend who I knew worked out alot to get a name and she offered to do it. She charges me $30.00 everytime she comes to change my routine. (about every 6 weeks). She doesn't come everyday and work out with me. This way I have the luxury of doing it when I want. It's been great.

Have a great day all. Try to check in later.

Jackie

Default Happy Thursday!

Hi All:

Monet - I surely would not worry about the ham - a very trivial thing - and it seems from your posts that you are going above and beyond to make this a special wedding for your child - and Dillards is the place to go I never not find anything when going, of course, never quite the price I want to pay, but you ought to find something gorgeous for sure!

Homeschool - How does one go through life not having an orange? I have to say you are extremely unique! I love oranges - of course, you have to get a good sweet one
that is dripping and juicy!

Sheann - WTG on the weight loss - good for you!!!!!!!

BOB - I whole heartedly agree about Bandits - Billy Bob had me rolling on the floor LOL!!!!

Country - Glad you are enjoying your vacation and glad to hear that the weight is starting to fall off

Fruit -Good Luck and hope all goes very well for you

ChrisB - There is sugar free ketchup out there - and there are sugar free recipes for ketchup as well - I am pretty sure someone here has a recipe or link to share with you You need to get yourself something SF to make you feel like you are not deprived - SF Ice Cream, or SF Ice Pop - something would be my suggestion for those moments when others are tempting you with their indulgences - or make a rule that they cannot have that stuff anymore in the evening when you feel weak.... Thankfully it is just my son and I and he is fine with SF Ice Cream - and we are not sweet freaks anyway - our weakness has always been the pasta and bread

Gracious - Cherry Blossoms sound dangerous hahahaha!!!! You definitely sound happy

Beth - I know what you mean about the checkbook emptying! I have to go get new tires asap on my little suv and it is going to cost me a good fortune - but it has to be done - it rained the other day and I could feel myself slipping and sliding - scary.... Glad to hear your SD is doing much better!! I could only do 3 piercings in the ear - the 3rd hurt for so long afterwards I could not do it again....I cannot imagine piercing anything else!!
Hahaha but I do have tattoos.....that was nothing, like a cat scratch when they fill in the color - but the one color one was not painful at all....on my ankle.

Mel - Sounds like you are just building up some good ole muscle - good for you!!!!

Trish - I belong to a gym that has trainers that you can get appointments with - they are expensive at my gym - so I could only afford 6 hours - $33.00 an hour - I might continue
after I use up my 6 hours with an hour a month just to keep up on a program and keep me motivated.... I love to see a difference in my body, and I know that if I can have
someone help me get on the right routine for what I want I will be very happy..... There are a lot of women at the gym that have a trainer with them every day of the week! I cannot imagine how expensive that must be!!! I need to find myself a husband soon
who can afford to send me to the gym with a personal trainer

Deb - I am sticking with my own scale - I think it is best, especially when it reads exactly the same as the doctor’s - and I don’t want to feel on cloud nine at the gym to turn
around every morning and think I have gained because it weighs more..... this morning I was 255 - so I know I am just bloated.....cycle thing here too.....

Here is what I ate yesterday (very similar to how I normally eat):
WW Toast Slice - dry
WW slice Bread -1 slice - with chicken salad
served with Greek Salad (homemade)
Salad again dinner, cup of roasted chicken
snack - 10-12 triscuit thins and some cheddar cubes

(I also substitute ww toast for a piece of fruit - I like to snack on strawberries, grapes, etc. rather than triscuits)

Some dinners are spinach ww pasta and homemade spaghetti sauce that I make and now freeze for future dinners..... and I make turkey meatballs (using no starches)

Good morning everyone.. Its still gloomy here in old Missouri. I wonder if its going to rain off and on like this all summer...Anyway truth be known I'll probably be praying for it about Aug. I'm staying OP and it seems like its getting a little easier. Maybe cause I just went grocery shopping. Always pleased with myself when I get all my water in.

Tranquil- What do you count the triscuts as? I love them but I thought four were a bread servint?

Jack-K- Okay you get off that scale.... I'm going to have a great loss this week, I can feel it in my bones, LOL....

Debilli- Thanks for the info on Trader Johns, I'm going on a little 3 day trip for my birthday in July for my birthday and we're going to Springfield and I'll look there and see if they have one... Hope you get a picture of your daughter all dressed up and show us. Sure hope she has a great time...

Trishaloo-Guess we'll be swimming with mosquitos this year. The rivers are so high. And they say its driving snakes more in land, so we'll have to watch about copperheads this year. I worry about my dogs being bitten.

Meliris-Sounds like you're doing great with the body fat. Keep up the good work...

Beth-My sweet little DIL has many pierceing and looks so good. But they would sure look yucky on me... Boy thats hard on you working nights. My hubby has an awful time. He's either working or sleeping!! That night time really messes you up. Tomorrow is his Monday...

Gracious- I'm glad your house is going as planned. Good luck this coming week-end with it.. Yep you got a great deal paying the man with Cherry Blossoms. But they do sound wonderful...

Chris- When you're kids eat donuts or ice cream you just don't and you learn that and get used to it. Because this is a WOE for life. I'm a sweet addict and I just know I can't and don't think about what my husband eats. And it gets easier. Have your legal snack and tell your self its so good and pretty soon it will be. When you see that weight dropping off you can really be proud.

Monet-Wow you are in a whirl wind. Hope everything goes fine and you have time to enjoy your self... Prayers for your sister... Know you must be beside yourself with worry...

Homeschooling Mama- The only thing I see wrong is to many starchy carbs. and not enough vegetables and water.

SheAnn-Congrads on losing the weight. You're doing really well..

CountryMom-woo hoo congrads on the weight. Are you going to bow hunt this deer season.
Have a great vacation...

Fruitloupe-Be glad when you can come back full time. Prayers for your surgery. Hurry back....

Well guess I'd better get moving. I've sat here to long and I'm hungry... Have a great day......
