I am new to south beach and don't own the book yet but have looked alot online and have a seasoned helper friend. I have about 200 (YIKES!!) to lose and really think this plan could work for me. As a newbie though I really don't know where to start. Do you all have any tips for me to help get me started? I will listen for hours so spill it!! Thanks in advance.
The first thing I recommend is that you head over to the FAQ section, and read the stickies -- especially the Emergency Handbook for phase 1.. In it there's also the food list for Phase 1 that you'll start with for 2 weeks....
Post your menus so that we can help tweak it for you... and I'd go to the library and get the book too...
Thanks for the advice guys, I am looking forward to this diet because I have a friend who has had a lot of success with it and I like that you are not measuring and weighing and counting calories and stuff. My husband has decided to join with me. Talk to you later!
