Dehydration
 

Yesterday the day started fine and as the morning passed, so did my energy. I started feeling like I was coming down with the flu; chilly, achey, just yucky. In the afternoon, I slept and then it occured to me. Ah Ha, I have dehydration. I felt this way when I had to prepare for a colonoscopy test. I started drinking water, even though I knew I would probably be up all night going to the bathroom. I didn't wake up more than usual and today I feel fine. My dh says since he started drinking water with me yesterday late, his weight dropped this am. I am not really a water drinker but I have realized that on this program it is very important, especially since we are not eating fruits and such. I don't want a repeat of yesterday for sure!

Island Girl, I'm sure you've heard of the SBD flu as well. Most of us get those flu-like symptoms on P1. Make sure you're eating beans and drinking and eating your dairy--that helps immensely (because those are carbful products but approved ones).
