Default Exercise in P1?

Monday is approaching me quickly, which is when I'm going to start SB P1.
I am wondering if anyone else exercised during P1 or did everyone just focus on the eating aspect of the plan? I am afraid I'll be super cranky and headachy from the withdrawl. I am a sweet carb freak... so this should be very interesting.

DH started SBD 3 weeks ago and he started exercise right away. BTW he had no crankiness from withdrawl at all.

Hi Chal, Everyone is different...
Most folks feel a bit wonky, headachy, and fatigued the first 3- 7 days, and opt to not exercise, while others opt to lessen the intensity. Eating more legumes and get all the dairy in for added protein will help you with your energy level and lessen the symptoms abit. Stay the Course though, you will feel better for it, and will get your energy level back..promise! and of course come here to get all the support you need

I am in my second week of P1 and I have only missed one day of exercise so far. I actually felt better my first week on SBD than I did before, and I credit a big portion of that to exercise (which I haven't done consistently for over 2 years). I do 30 minutes on the treadmilll, alternating between walking and a slow jog. I think that no matter how crappy you feel, you could fit in a nice walk. Good luck!
