Default Scared of Phase II!!

Okay, so I successfully made it through Phase I. The problem now is I think I'm afraid of eating carbs or going crazy and eating a bowl full of pasta! How did you all handle the transistion to no carbs to a little bit of carbs?

I started with carbs I wasn't dieing to have. blueberries and oatmeal - the rolled, thick kind. I mixed both with yogurt. It gave me variety and carbs without setting off any cravings. I still haven't tried bread, or fruits I normally coudln't get enough of. Guess I'm a bit scared too

I am a bit nervous as well. I start phase 2 next week (Monday). I don't think I will add any bread or starch. Maybe for the first week, I will just add a fruit like strawbarries and bluebarries once a day. Maybe by week 6 I will consider 1/2 a whole wheat or multi-gran bagel in the morning, once or twice a week. I have to really take it slow. My body reacts awful to carbs. I learned this years ago. My doctor was the one that suggested south beach, and maybe with the alterations.
