Now and Then
 

My dd (15 yo) started a game this weekend that we named Now and Then. Here is an example:

Now: Huffing and puffing trying to climb the stairs at the waterpark, telling my dc that I'll catch up with them and praying that the line is long enough at the top for my to catch my breath.:(

Then: Get to the top and enjoy the view while I wait for the kids to catch up with ME!!:p

So, what are your Now and Thens?

Well, I'm aiming for positive Now and Then.

Now - I can wear Size 16 pants when I garden and bed over comfortably.
Then - 24X was needed if I was to bed without splitting the crotch.

But here's a negative one:

Then: running after Lucy when she took off for the woods
Now: calling the neighbours to catch her!

OH! I never thought about it the other way around! I suppose, because I'm just starting out, that I'm looking forward to Then!:D

One that my dd thought of:

Now: all we can share is earrings
Then: we'll have a common closet!

This is fun!

Good Morning Everyone!!

Then- Watching the kids have fun in the pool
Now- Jumping in (literally) and joining them in the pool

Then: worrying how I look in public, ex: when people looked at me I thought it was because I was so fat
Now: feel more comfortable with myself, am not self conscience when people look at me now!!!!!

Then: trying on clothes in stores was such a hassle, bending, stretching, finding something to hide my wobbly parts
Now: looking forward to shopping, just have to find the extra money to accomodate my shopping habits now!!!
