Default Hiya

Ah, Schatzi, you made my day!!!! Figs-a-flyin'???? Wasn't that a Christmas song?

I'm headed home to Idaho after taking my dd to Salt Lake to catch her plane back to Atlanta. My soldier son flew out yesterday (sniff sniff) My dh left yesterday to spend the week in Chicago, Indiana and Minnesota....sheesh. I go back to work tomorrow, but not before I CLEAN my house! Wow, it looks like a natural disaster occured in there. But it was so great to have the family home.

I'm ready for phase 1 tomorrow, I should have started yesterday, but traveling and last dinners out and and and and ................OK now it's time.

I'm an LA Weight Loss drop out too. and a WW drop out and a Diet Center drop out, thank goodness for SB.

We woke up yesterday morning to 8 inches of snow at my house. My word enough is enough. Ruth, could you send me some sunshine?

Ok now I have a chance to REALLY post:

Yay Crockett! Gratz on the pants! How great that must feel!

Shatzi- fig newtons? I've never even heard of these things! Maybe I should try them out...

Barb- Men can be such idiots sometimes...always tempting with the chocolates and candy...

Pear- Everything that has to do with weightloss is a scam these days. All the pills/patchs/programs! They're all sooo expensive and it is difficult to find one that really works!

Everyone else good morning!

I was huffing and puffing about my alarm clock going off at the wrong time this morning in an earlier post, but now I remember why...I dont work today! DOH! I feel like a moron. Anyway I did get in a 40 minute walk and I'm going to go jump rope for another 15 at least I love jumping rope, I feel like I'm 7 again!

Hope everyone has a FAAABB day!

Hello everyone! Yep, I've been MIA....AGAIN! I always fudge my diet up when I don't stay true to this forum so I guess I'd better make myself get up earlier so I can chat while having coffee and well before the little kiddies start to show up! Not to mention I really miss you girls when I am MIA! Everyone says I'm still losing weight...although I've avoided the scales like the plague here lately! A woman that I met at aerobics began talking about this awesome chocolate covered peanut butter egg recipe that she had gotten from a church book and silly 'ole me asked for it! Needless to say....I've been REALLY bad! They turned out so great...once I started eating them, I couldn't stop. Please send me some On a brighter note I have kept up with my aerobics twice a week. I'd like to fit in some walking...possibly running. Have a great day ladies! Tara

Thanks for your Ok on the R & R. I really need that to survive what happening to us.

Yes Those TV dinner are a blessing when theres no desire for cooking. Have to drink more water to flush out the SODIUM. Going though cookbooks & the net for new recipes as the old ones are not interesting anymore.

Going to check out this site now.

Hi everyone, just checking in. My DH had an unfortunate accident. He was on his first day of training for a new career (truck driving) and he slipped and fell on the way out of the classroom! He sprained his ankle pretty badly and won't be able to finish the class (And we were stuck in the ER for 8 hours just for a physician's assistant to tell him to stay off of it and ice it for a week...sheesshh...) DH is very bummed out about his injury, but at least another trucking class is starting in 3 weeks, and he'll probably be able to go to that one.

I hope you all are doing well! I'm gonna go get some sleep since I didn't get much last night...

Sounds like everyone had a busy day!

Ruth - Ain't it great when the flowers come up? Did you get a nap today?
Soon - How aggravating about your training! You've got crazies all around you! Since I've missed out the past week or so, I'll have to go back to the old posts and see if you had any good Curves stories to tell.
Pear - Thanks for the tip on reading the SBD book again. I should do that again to get things solidified in my mind. Hope your studies are going well.
Kelly - I'm just now getting un-funked myself, so I know how you feel. This too shall pass...hang in there!
Debbie - What a cute story about DD.
Weezle - So, what happened today when you turned in your notice????? Hope it went well.
BeachBum - You definitely deserved the break. Good for you for getting right back on track!
Cottage & Barb - Hope you had a great day!
Jazz - Too funny about the alarm clock! Doh!
Lindy - Disney sounds like a great time. I'd love to go back sometime. I'm sure it's nice to be home though.
Schatzi - I can just see the Fig Newtons flying through the car!
Crock - Woo-hoo! Way to go on the Wardrobe Victory!!!!! Sorry, but I'm not a NASCAR fan - don't have anything against it, but just never really got into it.
RNMom - How great that you got to spend time with your son while he was on leave. My prayers are with him and his buddies!
Tara - Here's some . Hopefully some of it will fall on me too!
CRK - What a bummer about DH's ankle. Hope he bounces back quickly.

Everyone else, have a great evening!

Hi, Ladies. I am new to the forums. Just started SBD one week ago and am down 4lbs. It just amazes me that my stomach is deflating and my cravings for junk are disappearing. I have 25lbs to lose and really think this is going to be the answer for me. My current weight is 171 and my goal is 146. I hope to get most of this belly banished by my 41st birthday in June. Wouldn't that be something to celebrate!

Crock - I'M A NASCAR FAN!!!! (insert southern Ohio joke here!) But I'm not a fan of Gordon's.....more of a Rusty Wallace gal myself.
