Cream cheese substitute, dairy-free <-- what does it mean by "substitute"?

and is kraft fat free cream cheese ok for phase 1? and it not, why not? i dont get it ><

and another thing, why arent we allowed to drink caffeinated coffee and only decaf?

Substitute is probably made from tofu -I'd have to see the ingedients.
Fat free is NOT allowed on Phase I - see your previous questionamd reply here. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79966.
We are allowed to drink caffeinated coffee but are limited to two cups a day.
See the explanation in the book - pp 56-57.
