Oh yes, the scale goes up 5-7 lbs for me...every month. I usually stay off the scale around that TOM except for now when I need the harsh motivation to keep me on track...I've been a bad girl this month. The good thing is that usually the 2 weeks right after your period is one of the easiest times to lose weight.
ya i may gain a couple of pounds but my pants always feel like i've gained 10.

McD's fries have been my craving day 1 since she visited my first time when i was 11.../22 now...i don't know what i'm gonna do
Most months I gain 1-2 pounds on the first day. Yesterday when I weighed, I had gained 7 pounds over the previous days. I'm hoping this was a fluke and that it will come right off once I stop retaining water. I know I had a bag of chips (individual sized, not a whole bag!) but don't think that can account for a 7 pound gain in one day!
