Scooby, you are loosing at a healthy rate. Most of the "big" drops you see or hear about initially is water weight. Here are some things to consider

--You'll be able to determine what percent of your foods are fat/protein/carb.. and find the percent of each that works for you...more importantly you can determine how many calories you are consuming and burning. It's possible that while adopting a healthier eating style, you might need to work on portion control. It pretty much comes down to calories in and calories out....
- Weigh yourself the same time each week. Weight can fluxate as much as 4 pounds in a day.. and it's easy to get hooked on the highs and lows that being scale obsessed brings.
-Patience... It probably took some time to gain the 25 you want to loose.. It will take a while to loose it too. Aim for 1 - 2 pound loss per week.
What ever healthy program you adopt - it will be worth it -cuz you are worth it !
