I was on the SBD a couple of years ago and lost a lot of weight. Then, some health issues, etc. I gained back about 30 lbs. Now that the health issues are taken care of, I wanted start back on the SBD again to get rid of the weight I gained. But, just a couple of days into phase 1 I started to break out (small blisters, rash) on the back of my head, and at about the bra line on my stomach. Anyone else have this happen? Or, does anyone have any idea what might be going on? I'm going to have to go off of the diet and see if this clears up, but I hate to because I know how well the SBD works. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It sounds like an allergic reaction to me. Have you eaten any new foods or used any new products on your skin? I've never had that happen from the diet but I have had skin reaction due to allergies and I've had yeast infection at the bra line (but normally during hot weather),

Thanks for the reply. No, I haven't eaten any foods this time that I didn't eat the first time around. I guess I'll go off of the diet and see what happens. I might continue to eat the foods I have been eating on phase 1, but add more carbs (phase 2 type) and see what happens.

tlmom...do you think it could be shingles? Your description sounds a little like shingles.
