Hi Heather
I am a bit of a newby too...just one month into SBD. Good luck! I am curious about the choc PB thing...can you share the recipe? Sweet cravings have just hit for me...week 2 PHase 2.
And Laurie...great tips for sweet cravings...tried the latte with SF vanilla...yum. something especially satisfying to have WARM and SWEET together.
I too am an avid spinning fan. Mostly I do it to stay strong for road biking in the spring. I am bummed that the kickoff ride I usually do in late April conflicts with my son's confirmation weekend. Natch he comes first, so I will have to find another ride to start the season. I have completed a few metric century rides (100 km or 62 miles) and my goal for this season is to do a true century ride (100 miles).
Welcome Heather!
Meg

!

I'm not an egg eater, either. I like them now and again, but not as a regular thing. I often just eat leftovers or other "normal" foods for breakfast - the same kinds of foods I eat at any other meal.

lillygrace - the recipe is in the phase 1 desserts forum. Here is the link: Peanut Butter Cup - Phase I and onward

You are limited to 75 calories of sweets per day, and also to 2 tbsp of Cool Whip Lite/Free per day - plus the peanut butter counts as your one serving of nuts per day. So it's kind of an "expensive" treat! I'll make one now and then, but I'm not really a sweets person - I'd rather eat some pistachios in the evening than something sweet.
