Well, the Girls have taken to howling when Ralph toots his horn.
, It sounds just awful - as if someone has died! So naturally I am up BEFORE the roosters! (Who don't holler around here until nearly seven these dark mornings!)
Pearshape, I am sure you are mega-relieved that the Fair is over and life has settled back to normal. I love our Fair but also like getting the quiet of the Village back. That soup sounds good. The problem with turkey sausage is that it includes dark meat which we aren't supposed to have but......the fat is very low and some rules can stand a little stretching.
Wenchy, thanks for starting us up. I do that all the time - start a post and then someone else sneaks in ahead of me!
I hope your day isn't too boring and that you do get time to do Pilates. You exercising chickies make me feel so guilty
but it doesn't last long!
Hollyhock, the de-grungers will be well worth the money! A clean kitchen is worth a thousand Romanos. I am still looking for a Gail replacement. The Princess party is wonderful!
I am going to try to save it. If it doesn't work, I'll email you for a copy.
Djett, I hate it when my Doggie Alarm doesn't go off at the usual time - especially on a busy day. How lucky
you are to have a co-worker cook SBD for you. I hope DS comes home with an attitude adjustment.
My kitchen is ready for Romano. He will not be here at his usual early start time (7:30 last week) because he has to get his "guys" working on other jobs. Then he'll be here to do my drywall. I think I'm getting personal attention because he knows he overcharged me. His estimate was based on major problems - like the chimney tiles all falling down - but we shook on it so......
Visiting Harry yesterday went pretty well. I got him down to the lounge for a coffee and then we sat outside for a while. Lucy was her usual charming self. I just know she will have no problem passing the Thera-Paws evaluation in four weeks. Of course, Mummy won't be the evaluator. She needs practice in meeting other dogs which I'll have to work on before then. She's too enthused and wants to play - a tail wag and sniff is acceptable while on lead.
This morning, after R. arrives, I plan to take a dog for a walk. It doesn't sound like much but I've been avoiding walking them because of fear of tripping. Hersh walks best so I guess it will be her turn first. I have some Tylenol3 for knee pain and have just taken one. I've never had side effects from them but we will see.
Have a super day, Chickies. I guess I'd better go and update the Sept. weightloss thread. Anyone else for October targets?
