Well, the taste is hard to describe. I have tried both the regular fiber one and the honey clusters, and personally, I like the regular. I use a lot of milk. It tastes healthy, but not in a bad way. I got a box today at wal-mart for about 3.50. I know it sucks to waste money, but you should try it. If you don't like it as a cereal, you could add it to salad or yogurt.

Never been a cereal lover, but use to like it dry as a snack. I bought the SBD cereal and was quite dissapointed.. It was expensive, contained ingredients that are not SB friendly and IMO the taste was artificial and did not fill me up.
