I never liked my GF grill...My husband ended up taking it to work and giving it to someone....The only thing I thought it did well was chicken, and honestly it was too fast..nothing else would be done, before the chicken was.

I looked at smaller GF grills this afternoon and decided to do without. I'll put a small one on my Christmas wish list. (I DID buy a regular toaster though - at $12.97 I can just throw it out if the crumb tray gets full!)

Yes, I finally bought an appliance. I bought the Black and Decker 4 in 1. It makes good waffles, the grill part seems to be more of a steamer then a grill, but the pork I was cooking still tasted good. But I had marinated the pork so maybe it was a little on the wet side to begin with.

Good points-it's easy to change out the different plates, easy to clean, easy to figure out.

bad points-have to find a place to put all the plates that I'm not using.
The directions are pretty slim. and there is no cook book. So you have to guess how much waffle batter to add, how long a piece of meat should take to cook and stuff like that.
The fat doesn't have any place to go, it looks like it would pool. I played with some lean pork loin yesteday so I didn't have much fat to worry about.

All in all, I think it's a good product so far...I've only had it 2 days. I think tonight I'll play with the grill part and see if I can cook an egg. Shoot, maybe I'll never need to dirty up another pan oh, well wishful thinking.

And I bought a cheap 8" nonstick skillet at Target...only $4. and it works. Wow, I forgot how nice it is too cook on a new non-stick surface. Woohoo, I went crazy over the weekend. I almost bought a toaster oven at Sam's but had to control myself .

My toaster oven just sits. So does my rotisserie. (my mom buys me this stuff) My small GF gets used every single day by someone in my house. We do chicken, pork chops, hamburgers, steaks and even grilled cheese on it. Easy enough for my sons to use. The removable clean top one would be nice however.
