Angry Oh! I Want to Quit!!

Okay, I have made it through 1/2 of my 1st day and I want to quit so bad. I am so hungry and I am trying to drink a lot of water to curb my appetite but it's just not working. Will someone please tell me if I have eaten enough today?

Breakfast: Jimmy Dean omelet
Snack: sf/ff jello
mozzarella stick
Lunch: lettuce wrap w/chicken & veggies
mozarrella stick

Thanks!!
Jacquerlyn

Need more info....what portion sizes are you eating? What was in your omelet? Did you have any other veggies in the AM?

Remember, you can eat enough of your protein source until you feel satisfied....if it takes a little extra cottage cheese, then so be it!

Jacquerlyn, you need veggies!!! They fill you up and your protein keeps you full. Go have some refried beans (vegetarian or fat free) and cook them up, then throw some salsa (no sugar) and cheese on top. Or dip slices of bell pepper into hummus. Combine veggies and protein any way you can and go from there. If you are hungry, eat! You shouldn't stay hungry. However, if you're just experiencing cravings, find ways to distract yourself and stay busy for the next three to five days while you detox.

I didn't think it was enough food, but I just wasn't sure. I guess I need to go read the book again. So I eat until satisfied, right? It's 4:00 and so far I have not cheated. Now, I guess if I can get through dinner without caving I will be okay. Thanks guys!!

Do NOT give up girl, you will kick yourself afterwards! eat until you are satisfied...and if two hours later or so you're hungry, grab a slice of lean turkey lunchmeat or an egg or some veggies...or anything thats okie dokie to eat! I will say, I WAS hungry for the first week, even though I ate adequately...I don't know if it was just the switching over, burning one source for 'fuel' instead of another or what for me...but I was. But then, BAM, pretty soon I was rarely hungry at all and would have to remind myself to eat. Just keep at it, it DOES WORK.

Don't just read the book! Read the FAQ food list and hints! Remember that milk is now part of Phase I and that healthy carbs like beans are allowed. There is no need to be hungry on this plan.
