Laurie, hon, thanks for posting those! But do be aware that you can't convert your fat into muscle just by exercising the area. What you'll do is build up muscle under the fat, but it won't make the fat go away. You'll need a combo of strength training, cardio, and diet to make the fat go away, and it does take time. That doesn't mean that doing ab exercises isn't worth, because it totally is! You use your abs constantly for almost every type of exercise, and keeping your core strong is so important! But don't think that if you do a ton of crunches, your belly will look like Janet Jackson's after six weeks. KWIM?
