Hi , I keep trying to get back on track with phase 1 but night time munchies keep breaking me . I've tried going for walks (I just eat when I get back ) . I've tried all kinds of things to take my mind off of food and they are not working . I know if I can get past the first few night's I'll be ok . It's just getting there . Any suggestions ?
I always drink a big glass of water when that happens at night. Not too good for sleeping all night, but it helps with the hunger. I also make sure to save something that I will enjoy for that time of night. Some milk or cheese, or celery with pbutter. A bit of protein will really help to get through that nighttime stuff.
Have you tried making the ricotta creme dessert and having it as a late dessert? It is very helpful especially if your dinner hour is early. I eat around seven and hit bed by ten so it's not a problem here. Another suggestion would be a milkshake of some sort.
Change isnít easy. But if you donít change, you stay the same, and whereís the fun in that?
