Is there any difference in the ground turkey you get in the meat section and the frozen ground turkey??

I know the frozen turkey is 15% fat, not sure of the fresh turkey.

Wenchy, the packaged frozen might have some additives, where I would assume (though not sure) that fresh would be free of those additives. You'd have to look at ingredients to be sure, or check with your butcher.

Remember that ground turkey and ground chicken usually are not all white meat so may not be strictly OP.

Good thing the 1lb. roll was only .69!

I get ground turkey at it is 93% lean, like the beef I usually get, but I buy it fresh. It was 2 for 1 at the store in comparison to the ground beef (Because it was on sale)
