Default Maltitol stomach problems.

Not sure who said it or where I read it but someone said they got horrible gas from this ingredient in SF foods like Mentos. I thought Mentos would be my sweet snack in the afternoon. However for 2 nights after I had them I got horrible pains in my stomach. Then yesterday I had them in the afternoon and the whole time I was driving somewhere, my stomach was killing me. I guess I can't handle this ingredient either.

Thank you for the warning though!

i had a similar experience with those "peppermint patties" that were made out of the worst mixture of pain and death you could imagine.....before you eat those..."candies and chocolate" ...beleive you me... they are way TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

For me it's the SF popsicles(not the fudgesicles)...they taste so good but a little while after eating them...yuck!
the fudgie ones don't bother me at all.

I glanced at the title of this thread, and thought it said, "Marital stomach problems".

^^ I couldn't agree more!

Genetically modified, artificially flavored, colored and sweetened items are not even "foods" anymore! *Down with frankenfoods*

Sorry you had the "rude" awakening to the perils associated with eating sugar alcohols, but aren't you glad you know firsthand that they aren't for you? To your health!
